Incredibly stormy. It's after midnight, yet it's still in the upper 70s here, there's severe thunderstorm and tornado watches up for most of my state (my area was under the former, now we're under the latter until 6 in the morning), severe thunderstorm warnings everywhere (and there've been some tornado warnings within the last few hours in some parts of the state), there's a pretty good squall line southwest of us headed our way, and flash flood watches and warnings all over.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay. Sleep well, indeed.

Woo, have fun! Hope the weather doesn't get too nasty for you out there.

People are talking about the heat-was it yesterday afternoon, I heard on the local news, there was someplace in Iowa that had a temperature of 95 degrees, a dewpoint of 84, AND a heat index of 123 degrees . Yeah. That must've been absolutely miserable.

Much, much nicer today. Storms have cleared out of here, sun is out, it's beautiful and calm, and more reasonable temperature-wise, in the low 70s.
