Drop beautiful day - thats blasphemy. U sure are in a minority! Its one of the best on there in my view. O.K. so its a bit of a commercial song but it did do so well and the lyrics are BEAUTIFUL and it seems to follow on perfectly after the feeling of desperation from the pop album. It may be viewed as purely commercial but i feel that it was true to what Bono felt and is true u2.

Just to let u guys know, the fly was added on the UK version

goodness knows why it was only this version, the song is legendary and fits perfectly at the end of the compilation

Read this thread again, and then like 1000 other threads about changing the 90-00 Best Of... and you'll see that this point of view is not in minority!

BD was released at the end of 2000, 'Stuck'... was released in 2001, they do not belong to 1990-2000 "era".
They should be on the next '2000-2010' or '2000-The End' Best Of!

I like the Best of's 1980-1990 and 1990-2000. I just wish they would have not left out so much Like Lemon, The Fly, Pary Girl, Electric Co, Mofo...etc.

I also wish they would have had the original version of New Years Day...they left of the last verse. They also took away the BOOMCHA's in Discotheque

I've never been a fan of the best of 1990-2000. I think Beatiful day, stuck, hands and electrical storm don't belong on that cd because it has to represent the 90's and that songs are so different.

They could have spare the songs for the new best of (00-10).

Also I don't understand why the fly (1st single in 90's and represents the new 90s sound the best) is left of.

This is my idea for 90's: No strange mixes and at least the big hit singles.
