Hopefully it can take home enough to give it a boost, what are your predictions if it walks away with the top prize?

As to nathan, I know it's been certified triple platinum but I don't know how far beyond 3 million it's sold in the US, it's nearing 10 million worldwide.

If U2 walk away with best album I reckon it´s possible for the bomb to sell as much as 100,000 copies the week after.

(I was very unimpressed with the performance they gave in 2005),

Really? I thought it was a great performance of "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" as did other people. What do you feel was missing?

I don't recall a recent Album of the Year winner coming from off the chart to jump all the way into, say the Top Ten. What an accomplishment that would be.

Indeed, I'm not absolutely positive about what the impact is going to be like. Its also going to depend a lot on the level of media they got in the coming days.

I'll have to look back at U2's past Grammy performances but I think they have gotten up to nearly 100K after a Grammy night, but they were still on the chart at that point.
Its hard to say, they may not even crack the top 20, or they could hit the top of the charts which would be amazing. They would have a better chance if the album was hovering somewhere at least in the top 100. Will find out next Wendsday though.
