the best cheat I know gives you cash faster than the rosebud thing. Do this:
ctrl+shift+c
type: rosebud
press enter
ctrl+shift+c
type: !;!;!;:
press and hold enter. watch yer money skyrocket.

I can't take this torture anymore, I've been sitting here lmao at your stories and pictures I NEED to join this insanity. My flatmate has the SIMS but I have no idea what that means. Wtf are expansion packs do I need one? I played it a couple of times but and my character is complaining he doesn't have a girlfriend but he doesn't care for any of the 3 girls I've been making him flirt with, is there a shortcut I'm missing? Any other handy shortcuts/cheats (i got the money one and will try that out soon)? Oh also do they ever change clothes, mine wear the same thing everyday, yuck?
