The new tv contract isn't what glazer had in mind. What I said is, I think he's hoping for sole, exclusive TV rights for matches broadcast from OT, don't think thats an impossibility, theres already been rumours of a possible date in the Euro courts about ways of getting it pushed through, yes that could take a long time, but that was my initial point.
Secondly, I know I have the benefit of hindsight here but with vodafone jumping ship, and strong rumours of more to follow, glazers business plan is sinking fast, he borrowed hundreds of millions, on a business plan that at worst saw Uniteds finances staying at least the same as before he tookover, most of his borrowing was from hedge funds, companies who specialise in RISKY lending, the clauses in these debts should send a shudder through anybody who supposedly supports UNITED, these companies, when not if glazer defaults, WILL SELL any asset at UNITED, in order to get there money back, they will own whatever % of United, that glazer has defaulted on.
I will not bother posting another message on this or any other board, so don't bother reply with your usual immature "wit" just open your fucking eyes!!!

lol

Do you really believe Vodofone jumped ship? Utd's contract with VF was for 9mil a year - Juve gets 14m for their shirt deal. Do you think that Glazer is unaware of that? That is a 5mil difference.

What disturbs me about this news is Vodofone's claim of partnering with United in 'bigger' ways. "Old Trafford by Vodofone" anyone? THAT would be a tradgedy.

The new TV contract DOES hurt Glazer. Its a new contract which will give it some more weight in courts. The only way that Utd are going to win this battle is if the whole of the G14 stand with them - and that is a bit optimistic.

Let me make myself clear again. I dislike Glazer. The fact that he would come in and throw the club that I love into turmoil is frustrating, BUT (and this is a big but) it is not certain that his plan will fail.

We def. deserved our win on sunday. Played superb towards the end of thw 1st half and for the first 20 mins in the 2nd. Ruud's sublime chip deserved to go in.

Tho it would still not have bettered one of UTD's greatest ever chips...Cantona against Shef. Utd in an FA Cup away tie...

not as good as Dalian Atkinsons run from his own half against Wimbledon about 10 years ago when he beat the whole team and chipped the keeper

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

You've never seen the Dalian Atkinson goal??

i've got it on video on my computer back home. I'll send it u on MSN when i get back home to brum in 10 days. I'm pretty sure u will recognise it, it's always in the top 10 Premiership goals things they do.
