we go in a field believe it or not usually anyways. There aren't many open spaces left though

B2d is right, I have never been pumpkin picking.

I don't know if they even grow pumpkins in England. To me pumpkins come from Tesco's supermarket - I have no idea how they get there!!!

In california we can pick lots of fruit. Strawberries apples, raspberries and the occasional pumpkin. Of course it'll cost ya

We do in England in the summer - strawberries, gooseberries and raspberries. I have never heard of pumpkin picking though - it is usually too cold or dark to do this at this time of year here!!!

^It is where they look for a solo artist or group - Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne are judges on the show.

how is it different than pop idol? only because they accept groups?

Yeah in pop idol it was just solo artists. Here there are three judges (A guy called Louis Walsh being the third) and three types of artists - solo artists aged 16 - 25, solo artists 25+ and groups. They all go head to head and are voted off by the public until a winner is found. Last year it was a solo artist from the 25+ category who won.
