it isn't cheap, but if you're going to pay it off over time this is your friend.

Pretty much. I sometimes like to goof off with photos but nothing complicated. Don't do games really so won't need any fancy graphics cards or turbo speed.

Yeah, then I'd stick to Windows first of all, and honestly, just buy whatever you can find a deal on from a reliable shop. Don't know if you guys have Best Buy there, but that's one of the best places to find good deals.

Basically, RAM is what makes your computer run. More RAM = faster. To put it simply.

GB is space for music/photos/porn etc.

HZ is speed.

I'm not great at this stuff, though.

Well, the processor on the second one is faster, even though it has less ram and memory. IF I were you, I'd go for the second computer. It won't run WOW like perfect, but...haha, I don't think you care . Also, 160 Gigs is a fair amount of space, though I'd drool over 320
