The subject line pretty much says it all. If you want to play, answer the preceding question and ask a new one. Make it as easy or as difficult as you want.

I'll start us off:

What is the only b-side that has both opened and closed concerts?

Boy/Girl, which was a b-side on Three.

Out Of Control was not played live for over ten years. What was the last city it was played in before this gap, and what was the first city it was played in after this gap?

Only opened once, at its very last show.

I know it was last played before the gap on 10 January 1990 in Rotterdam. But when it reappeared ... I should know ... OH! 15 May 2001, Chicago! That was also the first time 11 O'clock Tick Tock had been played at a full tour concert since the Rotterdam gig, though it had also been played at two ATYCLB promo shows.

Next one: Occasionally, U2 have played songs live before a studio version has been released. What song was played live the longest before its release?

11 O'clock, tick tock.....?:eyebrow:

Nope. Its earliest known performance was as the Silver Lining on 3 February 1980. It was released in the 11 O'clock Tick Tock incarnation on 23 May 1980.

The gap for this one is much longer.

All I have rattling around in my head, are Out of Control and Stories 4 Boys....but Im guessing it aint them either!

Unfortunately not! They were released in September 1979, with the earliest known performances on 5 October 1979. And even if they were both invented at U2's first gathering in 1976, they still don't beat this one.

Hint: It is NOT a song from before the Joshua Tree.

Alright folks, here's the answer: Slow Dancing.

Played: 1 December 1989, Osaka
Released: 22/23 November 1993, as a Stay b-side

I'll be back with another question soon!

Here's an easy one! I'd like to see others asking questions.

The question is: what song have U2 played live the most?

Streets seems to be the most obvious answer...so that's my answer.

But it's not the right answer, unfortunately. It appeared a little too late.

Yay, what do I win. I hope it's money. I like money.

You win the opportunity to ask the next question. That's as good as money!

In the absense of another question, here's one!

What Rattle And Hum song, when played live, has ONLY been played in the opening position?

(Lancemc, when you come back to this thread, feel free to ask another one of your own. I'm sure we can handle two questions at once.)

Hawkmoon.

You got it. Eight shows, all opened. Though it was snippeted as part of an acoustic medley during Elevation, but that doesn't count in my opinion.

Your turn to ask a question!

oh god.....*cue thinking music*

There are pages at elevation-tour.com that could help you find trivia!

But I hope no-one uses those pages to find answers!

An easy one from me here......

Which Night did Kite make its first ever live apparence on the Elevation Tour?

Oh shit ... it was in California ... Anaheim? No ... hmm ... I'll see if I can remember this one, I think I can, but I'll leave it open for a while to see if someone else gets it.

I have some trivia's for you all.
