OK, I just came off a road trip to see The Church so they are on my brain. Please bear that in mind here....
Under the Milky Way - I have always loved this song
Maya - aaahhh... I can put this song on repeat and be a happy camper for a long time
June - "in the nest, futures hatch, what a lovely thing to see" - and the song just soars . So gorgeous.
Remote Luxury - title says it all
Glow Worm - many Church fans find this one too sweet, but it's a song to his daughters, and I always feel they are lucky girls. How wonderful to be so loved.
Radiance - a song based on the Our Lady of Fatima story - when SK sings this he actually does look radiant.
Invisible - always reminds me of winter, but it is stunningly lovely.
Time to Say Goodbye - (actually not a Church song, but a SK solo work) - Can be understood as from the point of view of the one who dies or the one who is left behind, and either way is equally moving. Lovely, sad, and ultimately comforting.
