3.) The second track is Falling At Your Feet is a duet with Bono. It has always struck me as having a Simon & Garfunkel type of feel. The version on Million Dollar Hotel Soundtrack is 4:54 whereas this version is 3:41. At present I prefer MDH version.

Ooh, I haven't heard the new version of this song, but I love the one from MDH, and that's another one I'd add.

Speaking of Simon and Garfunkel, by the way, I'd add "Sounds Of Silence" to my list of beautiful songs-hauntingly beautiful.

I'm adding my amen to:

Heartland, Slug  , Stay (Craig Armstrong remix)--U2
Sound of Silence--Simon and Garfunkel

And how about:

El Condor Pasa--Simon and Garfunkel
Plot 180--Passengers ;) (I LOVE that song! Actually, most of Passengers would qualify imo.)

And my deepest apologies for my egregious grammatical error...

You're should be Your in the title of the Manic Street Preachers' song...

"A New Day Has Come" - Celine Dion

"Cast Your Fate to the Wind" - done by George Winston

"Joy" - George Winston

"Variations on the Kanon by Pachebal" - George Winston

"The Holly and the Ivy" - George Winston

"Say you Miss Me" - Wilco

"Don't Know Why" - Norah Jones (cuz she's hot)

Oh and I really think most of Bjork's songs on "Homogenic" and "Vespertine" fall under the category of "beautiful," with a special shout out to "Joga," "Cocoon," and "Unison."

"Shout out"....lol.

Melon

Indeed, the beauty of Bjork's music knows no bounds. I would especially include Pagan Poetry. Wow.

Too young most likely, but any of the
Moody Blues albums
Angie, Rolling Stones
All of the afore mentioned U2  :bono: :larry: :edge: :adam:
Crying, Roy Orbison
All of the Parachutes album by ColdPlay Trouble, We Never Change

Jeff Buckely - Hallelujah, Corpus Christi Carol, Lilac Wine

it's interesting to me that you chose those three...them being the only 3 on grace that he did not write...

i didn't have dream brother (jeff buckley) on my list, but i'll add that...along with morning theft...

One of my favourite Jeff Buckley songs is actually one of the very rough songs in progress which by rights he probably would not have released: 'I Know We Could Be So Happy Baby (If We Wanted to Be)'. So there. Also I think Last Goodbye is better than Hallelujah, though both are wonderfully performed.
