Interesting post over on Zootopia in regards extra shows

When you look at the tour page source code, every show has a link associated with it, such as U2

So I looked at all of them, and there's some inconsistencies... Here's a list with associated IDs:

Some IDs are not in the list, even though they seem to be mostly sequential. Some are in odd places, like they were added later.

That's not too hard to piece together, IMO. They'll release the remaining rumored shows as the originally announced shows sell out.
 
I think i will go set myself on fire again. I really have no desire to go to any of the shows listed so definitely holding out hoping something closer is announced. Don't want to leave the kitties home alone for very long.
 
Honestly all I wanted was an Ireland show. I know they said those will be announced later but what does "later" mean? Like later in the year, later next week, after summer? A U2 show in Ireland is #1 on my bucketlist but they sure make it hard to plan for haha.

It's probably not a big concern for them to rush this one as it will sell out in seconds anyway

Something at the end of next year I think they said. Maybe they're going to do a New Year's Eve run at the O2 Arena, like they did at the point depot in 89. The o2 sits on the same site the point depot did, so it makes sense they would do this. Then remember they have Croke Park supposed locked in for 2016. Kind of surprised Belfast isn't getting shows either.

Makes sense except there are odd numbers of missing dates in there, Turinx3 or Amsterdamx3, Berlinx5.... they don't do odd on this tour.

why? did anybody read what the Edge actually said about it? I'm sure there will be an acoustic portion to each show, and an electric one as well. I don't have the article pulled up right now, but he said you don't have to go to both shows, but if you do you'll get a full experience or something like that. There's no way they're going to just do unplugged only for one night.

That would certainly make sense. I'm aiming for one show, hoping to manage a pair in a city.

One, maybe two per city? They always have at least one opener per tour leg. NA usually gets different ones than UK so we may not hear who the support acts are until after Jan 1st. They may still be figuring that out, who knows.

This. So much.

Luckily my youngest is easily sated with a few small toys (she's not quite 3), and the oldest is a huge U2 fan already. I've already bought his smaller gifts, was hoping for sales on the bigger ones. Instead, Santa may be bringing him U2 tickets!

Good thing MrCK and I rarely buy each other gifts! :)

I wonder if the large breaks during the 1st and 2nd legs ate by design since Bono now has his love child Leo to build a relationship with.

i've not read the whole thread but is there some sort of ticket "buddy" thing happening this time round? this has been announced slap bang in the busiest 3 weeks of the year for me, with two days off and up to 12 hour shifts :lol: so I'm not going to be around for any of this!!
 
Sorry if I'm testing anyone's patience here but I just want to know where to be logged into and a vague idea of what to expect at 10 tomorrow morning...

It's pretty convenient when you really think about it.
 
Just talked to ticketmaster directly - confirmed that they WILL cancel your tickets if two members of the same household get tickets using the same billing address on the credit cards, regardless of card names and numbers.

I'm attempting something like this.

1.Ensure Ticketmaster etc account is updated and details all correct.
2.Login to u2.com and check account info/tour page to ensure presale code is present.
3.At 10am follows links on tour page which will take you to the relevant ticket agency.

Pray.

Just change the billing address on your card to your parents/uncle/work etc, then you can change it back the next day. They wont be shipping you any tickets, so the address is irrelevent

We have been receiving many emails / tweets / facebook messages asking about presale access codes. According to this tweet from @U2Community, none have been issued as of yet. Be patient, and as they suggest - grab a beer and put on Songs Of Innocence to pass the time.

That makes no sense. What if you have a family of four with 2 members?

It also flies in the face of what happened last tour, when the same ominous warnings were sounded.
