1977-1984 Box Set

All Music says it was released in November 2009. How did I miss this - anyone have it?

I have that set and Amazon didn't package it very well when they sent it.

I realized after that first post that I had it also. I think mine was packaged well but I don't remember if I bought it from Amazon or not.

They put mine in an envelope instead of a box. I couldn't believe they did that. It was a plastic one like they send clothes in, too, not even a padded paper one.

i've got this though mine's the one they given free in the UK when you bought any two of the three 2-disc boxes when they came out and it's 1980-1983...my girlfriend got it with Boy+October as a surprise which was lovely of her!

really weird how the one that was sold through Amazon was called 1977-1984 as, correct me if I'm wrong, the earliest recordings on the Boy set come from 1979. And since UABRS was from 1983 it makes no sense to round it up to 1984...very strange.

still hoping they bring out a 1984-1989 box when Rattle And Hum comes out. Love the fact that I've replaced my battered/scratched U2 collection with these 2-disc/3-disc sets which barely leave my shelf now

Barnes and Noble still has some of these sets in stock, at least they do here.

Whenever I'm in Barnes & Noble I always forget to go into the music section. I find good stuff in there when I do though.
