Silver Lining Lyrics
Silver Lining Lyrics
Call outside
Can anybody hear the call
But I see something outside
And at least you hear my call
Take me silver lining
Take me on my own
Take me silver lining
Take me from my home
I wait in the hall
I can see you crawl
You're always reaching for everything
Forever by yourself
Take me silver lining
Take me on my own
Take me silver lining
Teach him on his own
Say so, say so
Say so, say so
Say so, say so
Say so, say so
You call my name
But I can't see you calling
We always wish to be there
I can't hold on to be strong
Take me silver lining
Take me on my own
Take me silver lining
As the garden grows
Say so, say so
Say so, say so
Say so, say so
Say so, say so
Call out my name
Call out to him
Call out to him
Now, I more than likely got a lot of this wrong for a few reasons -
1. He is Irish and I am American, so someone who is British or Irish may hear what he is saying better than I can because of the timbre in the voices.
2. The quality of the bootleg is mediocre, so it's hard to hear at times.
3. From my experience of listening to early boots, Bono has a hard time enunciating while he sings. Thank God he got better with practice.
