It's Only Rock N Roll, But Bono Likes It
U2 frontman Bono took a break from saving the world last night to jump on stage with the Rolling Stones, stunning a surprised Chicago crowd with a high energy performance of "It's Only Rock N Roll." Bono appeared unannounced and disappeared without a word to the crowd after the song. Older Stones' fans might be in for more surprises as the tour progresses - the aging rockers have invited some relatively youthful bands to open some dates on their tour, including Shaggy, No Doubt and The Strokes. The Stones' tour officially runs through February of next year, with more dates expected to be released soon.
In other U2 news, Bono has confirmed that he will be taping an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show to discuss his campaign for third world debt relief. The show is scheduled to air this Friday.
