Interference.com was passed along the results of the recent Carling Music Survey, a survey of 5,000 people across Britain that was commissioned by Carling to celebrate Britain's live music scene. The results aren't due to be made public until tomorrow but we were lucky enough to get this sneak peek:

Well, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" seems to show up on everyone's best list. U2 is fairly represented I believe. Remember, it is 5,000 people, not one person's opinion. And this is the UK. It would be interesting to see the same poll done in the USA.

Not even a U.S poll because like the U.K they also have some strange opinions and tastes i dont understand......

In the "Rest of the world poll" you will have Achtung Baby and The Joshua Tree up there, maybe The Clash, The Police, Ramones, Pink Floyd and other greater artists excluded........

By the way, Smell Like Teen Spirit is by no means in the level of One, Imagine, Hey Jude
And i think U2 is not fairly represented sorry
