Yep. Quality control at U2HQ were having a day off when they let the crazy remix and accompanying video into the setlist. (where it shows no signs of being budged) However, on a positive note it is always a good time in the show to go for the obligatory toilet break.

totally agree. Crazy tonight and especially the live remix of the song are cringeworthy at best.

I think any collaboration with BB king should be avoided at glasto. More fitting would be the return of 'running to standstill' played just before streets and perhaps,.with guy garvey from elbow joining them. (Space oddity intro) Beautiful day I will follow Pride Magnificent New years day...

August 20th Don Valley Stadium Sheffield - UK

a spectacular evenings entertainment i sat in the "cheapseats" behind the stage. £35 well spent. i would advise anyone to swap their standing tickets and go for the 'back of the stage' option! the sound was incredible. joe o' herlihy played a blinder. as did edge by the way. the crowd...

What to expect from the last European show?

radio broadcast sheffield hoping that if the show is being broadcast live, the band will be stepping up to the plate and giving the tightest performance possible. with that in mind, i don't see them varying the set too much for sheffield and therefore no new songs!

Official "Bitch about the stupid mask" thread

essentially (for me anyway), it's not really about the mask. U2 has made me aware of many political issues over the years. i will listen to them, research them and decide whether i want to contribute/support the cause. however, after attending vertigo shows, i started to get just a little...

Official "Bitch about the stupid mask" thread

as said at U2.com, "Wear it in the pub or at the shops" i think someone must be having a laugh? i really hope so because if i turned up at my local pub with that mask on, i'd get laughed out of town!!

Official "Bitch about the stupid mask" thread

no. i've been a fan for quite a few years. ok there has always been a political element at U2 shows and this is a good thing. however, in recent years it just seems a bit over the top and embarrassing. i'm guessing that the majority of people at a U2 gig only go for the music and...

so very true. bono needs to stop being a complete and utter fucking tool and just sing the songs. his over the top campaigning really sours a U2 show for me.

    The CLAW Part 3

behind the stage if the stage rotates.....even better but anyway, for the people who have tickets behind the stage, the sound will be immense! also, the bonus of watching the entire crowd as if you were on stage. wow! could the cheap seats be the best? not bad value @ £30 a piece

Rehearsals at Camp Nou ( Spoiler )

anybody think that these shows might be longer than previous tours?

U2 360° Tour - General Tour Discussion Thread

2 x £30 tickets for sheffied block 33 from the stadium map this looks pretty close to the stage, albeit behind the stage. however, i guessed that the tour is being advertised as 360 degrees so fingers crossed!

    Magnificent delivered to the radio

yes. i've heard of the magnificat. This song was apparentley inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach’s The Magnificat however, rather than it being a worship song as you seem very sure about, you might want to look at this recent interview where daniel lanois talks about magnificent: "(it's) about...
