Sonically and compositionally it's fantastic to see them breaking out of the U2-by-numbers thing, the lyrics are superb and Bono's singing is one fire. But a question for the forum: does it have the melodies and tunes? I'm not sure. It's not got 3 killer melodies up front that JT and ATYCLB...

Band came in half way through. Seemed to be a longer version - Bono didn't quite get all the verses in order. Seemed to be a few instrumental sections between verses. Bono's voice was amazing. Harmonica end. Went down well with crowd who got into it.

Actually, i read somewhere this week, Bono said he actually has put on a bit of weight and was not "fit". But can be hard to tell with such a different hair cut.

Nah - no GA. It's a shame but reserved is just so much easier. I went GA in the two 93 Sydney shows (when I was an 18 year old student and camping out 3 days was no problem. I wound up with my dopey face in the Sydney video during Angel, Stay, Running and WOWY :D)
