Was in 109 row 23. You can see maybe 60% of the screen. It does get you to focus on the band though. The visuals still look crazy. Though I would definitely sneak down the walkway halfway through The Fly !

Absolutely, good performance. Was not that keen on the clappers !, but the atmosphere was miles better than under Pulis. Long way to go mate, but at least we are in there with a chance.

Yep, probably both the above posts are right, but just feels not very representative of the the actual critical feedback of the album which on the whole seems a lot more positive than negative. Even in the UK !. Only the usual suspects have given bad reviews & that was always going to happen.

Wish those bastards at Metacritic would include some more of the positive ones. Anything less than 70 is a disgrace !. Convinced they are U2 haters. Can think of at least 10 bonafide newspaper reviews that have been good or even great that are not logged & counted.

The way sales are today I still thought 2-2.5 million because of the big market that the band have worldwide . However, the promotion of TBT was shocking. With no strategy for a follow up single & video & the scattergun album promo approach, I doubt they will get near my initial estimate.

Adam did a bit with Chris Evans & that has been it. Even with SOI they went on Graham Norton, which is a pretty big mainstream show in the UK.

Agreed. The BBC special should have been timed for the week of release. Would have showed the songs off & casual fans may have thought to buy the album. Needed more TV & radio interviews as well.

5 in the UK. Unbelievable. Even if half the people who saw them in 2 nights at Twickenham had bought the album it would be number 1. Madness.

Interested to know how many sales in the UK were from buying the album from u2.com with the promise of a pre sale code for tickets for the European tour (god knows when that will be emailed through !) as I did. I know others who have as well. Thought that would really push sales right up, but...
