Lets start a list of all the things we think U2 hasn't, but should, accomplish before they retire as a band. 1- Play Acrobat Live (being the thread starter I'll get this gimme out of the way :))

When U2 does in fact decide to pack it in and retire (hopefully not soon) should there be some sort of "going away" or "goodbye" tour? If not I can just imagine the ciaos that will occur to get the tickets to there very last show, of whatever tour they would be on at the time.

What happened to U2 not selling the rights to their music to be used in commercials? They stopped WTSHNN from being used in a car commercial but they are willing to give away I Will follow, beautiful day, city of blinding lights and Streets in these ESPN commercials. What gives?

well not really, just a thought lol. Many U2 songs (alot of the better ones) have the same chorus + chorus + bono yelling + chorus formula. Some U2 songs that include Bono's yell or moan or whatever u call it towards the end of the song include: Electrical Storm, With or Without You, Sometimes...

I've seen very few instances of republicans listening to U2. Much of it obviously has to do with the bands pacifist attitude and of course Bono's humanitarian efforts, something that a hardcore republican would greatly be against. I’m curious to know if it’s purely because of the bands politics...

Okie its been almost a year with the Vertigo tour and I'm just sick of it. I've see enough (went to 4 shows) of Bono's drumming and all the same gimicks. All the tour pictures and videos are boring me already. I find myself watching Elevation, Popmart and Zootv shows just so I can forget about...

The best song-to-song transtion that U2 have come up with on ANY tour would probably be lemon -> WOWY. Though Please -> Streets comes pretty close

This was probably discussed before...but When did Wyclef and U2 collaborate and is there any sort of story behind this? All I know is that there was a WOWY and SBS remix of some sort that involved Wyclef.

Just a thought, compared to the Bono of past tours like ZootV, Popmart and Elevation, he seems less cool on this tour. Obviously Bono has not found the fontain of youth and is getting older by the day but his whole wardrobe and persona seem less cool. Look at the last tour, Bono was soooo cool...

So it has become apparent that Mysterious Ways has stopped being played on the European leg of the tour and replaced by none other then WOWY. Is this a good trade? I say YES
