I have to agree with the original post. Unfortunately the band played the weaker tracks from the new album. Miracle, SFS, Cedarwood. It was mainly because the narrative of the story they wanted to tell during the first part of the show. I cannot agree with Galeongirl when she says these songs...

Yes, it is also my nr1 song from the album. Moreover Edge promised they will play it. But it didn´t happen. Whatta shame.

I cannot agree more! :up: So many great live songs. But they gave them only a very limited opportunity in the set. Pleasing casual fans with greatest hits seems to be the main goal for U2 with their show. I can live without them playing rarities. I´m not so into "let´s wish they play Acrobat"...

So, the tour is over now. Let me shar a few thoughts about it. I experienced the show personally in Berlin and I listened to a few bootlegs. My strongest impression is that the band in their mid 50´s still got it. Especially Bono, despite his bike accident, was in top form. I would say best in...

Exactly, Lucifer, Balroom, California, Troubles, Magnificient, all were awesome live. And they even didn´t a chance to Soldier. There is no logic.

At the end of the day it doesn´t really matter if it is outdoors or indoors, I experienced terrible sound both outdoors and indoors. I expected this U2 show to be great in this aspect everywhere in the arena, but apparently there is still no sound system that would manage it.

I was on the stands to the left of the stage, close to Adam. Extremely loud, mainly Bono vocal and guitar, drums drowned. When Bono started Miracle ooohs I thought something is wrong, but they will surely sort it out. But no, it remained like that for the rest of the show :) Anyway, 2,5 days...

Yes, I the ticket from ebay auction didn´t arrive. But I tried my luck with last minute viagogo ticket with picking up in Berlin before the concert. So I travelled 700 km by train from my hometown without having a ticket :) I visited some historic sites in Berlin I got lost, I didn´t have a map...

I expected a lot when I heard this sound system is super special. It was quite disappointing to discover the sound was as bad as in an obsolete local club :) The volume level was a problem, too. I attended many metal gigs, even metal festivals, but this one was one of the loudest concerts I´ve...

The problem might be the special position of the speakers. When he is at his desk, he can hear only one segment of the arena, one segment of the speakers. I don´t know if there are other crew at different parts of the arena who would give him feedback about sound at other parts of the arena.
