Does anyone have any photos of the Chicago meet and greet on July 2nd? I was trying to find someone who may have snapped a picture of Larry signing my license plate and Bono signing my birthday card.

I don't go over to those boards much because I've heard the rumors people are nasty. Although I don't post a whole lot, this is where I started and this board is where I plan to stay. So I agree...I hope someone from Interference wins!

I know I skimmed the rules, but is it only one entry per person?

Congrats Btime! I was going to drive up there this morning because I JUST KNEW in my gut that's where they were going to show up and I didn't. It's a 3 hour drive for me. If I had a place to stay up there I would have drove up last night. :(

I was going to DRIVE to Chicago this morning for maybe getting chance to catch this...but now I'm figuring I'm going to miss it! I'm 3 hours away and it's 10 am now. DAMN for not following my gut!

I had 3/4 of the band (minus Larry) sign my license plate because it was important to ME. I TREASURE IT!!!! I will NEVER put that up for sale no matter how bad things get. The whole experience of meeting the band and having something personal signed for me to cherrish. No $$ could be good...

I roughed it out on Elevation in the sleet...it sucked but I'm ready this time around! If I remember correctly...they did start to issue wristbands while we were waiting in line and I think we got to go in a "little" earlier than original door time but not much. I can't wait! A day to freeze...

I saw Instiute on their solo tour this summer. They play some Bush songs (changes often). Their new cd is awesome....everyone should check it out. My favs on their cd are Seventh Wave, Animals Attack, Information Age.

I was wondering if the Happy Birthday and Party Girl segments would be possible "easter eggs" on the dvd. Has anyone found any?:scratch:

It was on at midnight...I just taped it and scanned through it.

I taped it last night. Kind of scanned through it. It's great knowing I was there.... but it seems a little shakey on the camera. Some shots took forever to get in focus. I dunno.

Did anyone watch this? I caught a little of it.... the camera seemed very shakey and out of focus on most of the shots. I dunno. Didn't seem very professional. Maybe it was just the footage I saw. Don't get me wrong...I'll buy it, I'll watch it...I was there.

Institute is great live. I saw them on their small club tour. However, if you had no interest in Bush...then maybe it's not going to go over well. I think it's a step up from Dashboard...but I'm a fan of Bush/Institute so I might be slightly bias.:p

It's hard to say how it will be. It's the Midwest...come on! Ya just never know. Like I told you...I managed w/the drizzly rain the last time for 8-10 hours. It sucked...but I made it! :cool:

Naa...just rain or snow! So frostbite might come into play! :wink:
