Well, nice it's a great move for you. Especially for the streaming generation. For me personally, I've got the whole collection, there's nothing exciting. I still use cd/dvd/bluray to get the best possible sound. So a hd-mastering with physical releases would impress me. The AB-atmos mix was...
U2 Love and only love....pffff...
First I thought it could be a collection of demos and alternative versions. But ..of course it's again nothing exciting.
Just a digital completation, nothing less, nothing more. Not exciting at all about these releases. Nice I can stream them now, but...
After waiting for almost 7 years for an album with new songs I hope the next one is their last, so they can release everything they 've got on their shelves. Then we'll have new material each year.
If they continue the way they do then we'll have a new album in 2026 and the next in 2034. By...
Not officially available for fans outside the US. How stupid a decision can be. It's money that count for this band nowadays. It should be on u2.com. After 40 years I'll end my u2.com membership. This is not my band anymore.
After all those push backs and shelving material it will suprising if they turn up with a new album before the end of the year. I'm not pessimistic but realistic. But maybe I'm wrong....
I'm glad this whole Sphere-thing comes to an end pretty soon now. Knowing there's a u2 circus going on on the other side of the world is pretty disappointing. However the show is really great, I miss the spirit of the band once had. It's complete the opposite to the band around WAR ...
Glad they end their worst episode of career soon and get them with their feet on the ground again. Back to the music, with Larry. Back to Europe and hopefully releasing relevant things again and accesable for ALL fans instead of releasing for moneyprofits like Apple.
So, I guess 2027 too. A bunch full of surprises would be welcome in the meantime. Songs of Ascent, Heartland movie, Sphere blu ray, Stories of Surrender cd/br.
I know, too much asked.
They should release Zooropa as a single to promote the whole Spere circus. And by that I don't mean only streaming. Also as a a cd/vinyl/blu ray single in dolby atmos/dts 5.1. That would be worth celebrating and something great for the people who can't attend the shows.
What a dull times for fans that don't go to the Spere. Nothing new, recycling the same old stuff forever. Promoting streaming releases is such a anti-climax. Just release these things without the pooha. And release something that's worth promoting it.
What a dull time to be a u2fan on this side of the world. Honestly I don't care about the Sphere shows. It's an expensive trip for a show without Larry in the US.
No news for the fans that don't have the chance to visit the band this year. No releases, nothing.
After the SOS I'm kind of tired...
