With HTDAAB, I felt, on first listen(s) that every song was a beautifully sculpted, hook laden song. There was no fat. All hooks and pop formalism. I loved each song (except maybe All Because of You.) But as time went on, the album had less and less cohesion and I haven't felt the need to listen...

The thing I love about this album is the passion that Bono brings. Great vocal takes across the board. What I was desperately wishing for on this album was the sound of Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam making music they'd want to hear—and enjoying themselves! Sounds like it happened.

I'm kinda suprised how... thin... it all sounds. With the emphasis on the sonics in the hype, I thought we'd get a fuller, fresher sound. The Stand Up Comedy clip was definitely disappointing, but I'll Go Crazy sounds much better than I thought it would. Overall, I wasn't expecting it to...

Very Led Zep, very kitschy, very dada/pop art. Don't know if i love it yet, we'll see if it grows on me.

Hahaha... nice. Like the 30 rock quote too. I fluctuate between loving this song, and having reservations about it. Like most U2 songs, you really need to hear it within the context of the album. But it's not predictable or boring—nice to see them make a song that people are passionate about...
