I agree. Many of the alt versions made me sit up and take notice. I really hope there are plans to release them in the near future...singles, remixes? I really like the way the showman starts in the liner notes.

On first listen I did not give the song it's due credit. Part of that was wanting to hear what was next. Ever hopeful Looking for that instant thrill of a first listen that slaps a smile across your face. After a few slapped smiles later, RFD was the first song I felt compelled to come back...

Pop will always have a prime spot on my U2 shelf. I agree Gone should have at least been a single if not lead. With that said... Hearing samples from the Hong Kong video altered my opinion on Pop a bit as I heard so much cool possibilities that seemed to get drowned out in the final...

I am in the wishful thinking "we will get a song" boat IF the 20th ends up being an album pre-sale announcement . Then guessing we will see the video release coincide with Dia de los Muertos a few weeks later. I am basing this off of my timeline observations of iTunes history for the artists...
