After Sydney 1 Tripple M were saying U2 just rocked more than 85,000 which seemed about right. Looked about 5,000 less for the second show.

Yeah I agree, Adelaide had 60,000. Had booze been available the place would have gone off ten times bigger though.

It was. We were there at the end of the of the catwalk on Adams side. But the rest of the stands didnt, they were lame, almost in a coma. it really was a major let down. A non alcohol event for the only show on the the oz leg. I knew then they wouldnt go back. Plus it was freezing there.

Adelaide saw Bono the most relaxed. He joked and had fun. Sadly its was a non alcohol event and it was freezing. I don't blame U2 not going there on this leg. It lacked everything.

Similar to ANZ stadium. you think you have section 34, but says aisle 35 on the ticket. That is the aisle you go down. Screwed with my head for years.

Oh and yeah, if the seat is 100 metres away it is a silver or anus seat not top price.

I have no doubt they can still sell out, just poor in promotion and dates/on sale times in my opinion. I am going to every show here, just dread 1998 all over again with half empty stadiums.
