So, does Houston mean I'm one step closer to you? :reject:

Elevation may be stale as bread that's been in the fridge for a week on the forum, but dammit if it isn't potent as hell live.

Awww, come on. You have to admit it's a fun song in concert, and it gives you a valid reason to yell "MOLE" and "HOLE" in public.... :shifty:

Seriously though, considering the last concert I saw was the Elevation tour, them playing this at Chicago 1 was a treat! :cute:

Whether or not you like Elevation, they already did it during the Boston 1 rotations and there are heaps of songs competing for these slots.

But I do think he was trolling when he said "this may get messy". Thought they were going to whip out something rare-ish.

Not quite San Diego or New York City, but Houston isn't going to win any awards with this audience either.

Some fast thinking by the B-man there...
Oh for f's sake!!! Stop stealing my GAs and my time on stage, you west of the Mississippi broads! Hit up Denver or LA or Vancouver...anywhere but Boston!!!

And I wonder where the name Masshole comes from...

Elevation. Will be laughing uncontrollably if he trolls everyone with a tease of TCB and plays Ordinary Love next.

"So we're going to do one that everyone has requested all tour long, and we haven't played it much. It came second at the Oscars" *into Ordinary Love*

Competing? I doubt the band see it as competing. More variety is great. We all have our wish lists. But some seem to take this way to seriously. Especially for shows they are not attending.

Is this only the second time it's been played?

Yep, Chicago 4 was its only performance to date. It was meant to be played at Toronto 2 but Edge had those guitar problems so they had to abandon it.

This now means the only original U2 song to be played once this tour is In God's Country - but Crystal Ballroom, Lucifer's Hands, Gloria, and Miracle Drug can only claim two performances and another ten songs have been played only 3-6 times.
