Was able to get seats for Boston 1 and 2, and GAs for LA 1 and 2 this morning. All were purchased on the app. I love the app.

The app doesn't seem to do anything on my android LG G3. I open it and it wants my location. I try to enter it manually. It let's me enter my postcode but there's no option to press enter. I back up and it then goes to my region but only searches for events near my town. I can't type in any other city to search for.

Not too bothered as I've managed to get tix on my laptop but would like to know how you even use this app or sign into it.

What a totally frustrating day...started trying for NYC and got nothing, Nothing in Chicago...Finally got through..2 GA's for LA and it told me transaction was having difficulty.....
checked my email 2 hours later...and there they were! 2 GA's for LA.... but not on the night I asked for! What a cluster fuck! all my friends have them for the weekend shows in LA ...

I love that there are hundreds of "Resale" tickets on TM, particularly MSG, but there is supposedly a "hold" on the event and, moreover, tickets were not available at the box office on Day 1. So...they've given insiders tickets to scalp on TM, and then will cancel orders of fans, so that insiders can get more tickets to scalp. Sounds about right.

Disgusting.

I bought 2 NY tickets, section 210, for 100 $ per ticket. Why are all other tickets 300 $ in that section when I look at Ticketmaster?

You can search on something like "U2 MSG" and it gives results (you can also set the radius from your location). You can click on the event and add it to Favorites.

Personally I am glad that there are the £182 tickets still available - takes the piss frankly.

That said the seats that are still available are quite good as they are on level 1.

Ticketmaster is a criminal organization masquerading as a service.

U2 needs to just say fuck it and have their own website for ticket sales.

I am so glad I went old school. Tried for Chi1 on the app (just to see what came up) and got offered upper level "resale" in the same area I bought Chi2 at -- $200 a ticket! FOR THE $30 SEATS. Criminal.

considering most major venues have contracts with ticketmaster... and live nation has a partnership with ticketmaster... this isn't possible.

secondly... do you honestly think U2.com could handle this mess? they can't even handle their own site as it is.

higher up in the 200's were the $100 tickets, probably row 17 and beyond

Thanks a lot for the answer :) I got row 17 :)

I suppose it is row 15 or higher for the $100 tickets (based on the tickets available now on TM).

But strange that a person that is only 1 or 2 rows lower than me pays $200 more...

Yeah I'm one of those suckers =(, unfortunately looking at the available seats left at msg could have done about 3 rows better to, hopefully they add more shows. Anyhow should be a good show either way.

Bought Chicago 2 by going old school. Was "in line" at the retail location located in one of our grocery stores at 10:45am, had a cashier at 10:55, told her precisely what I wanted to do (buy 3 cheap seats for Chi2) and she pulled seats up right at 1100 on the dot. Had them in hand within minutes. Now they are quietly stashed until Xmas since they're being given to LilCK as his gift from Mommy & Daddy. He doesnt even know the tour was announced. :giggle:

Awesome! How do you find retail locations for future reference? Is it on the ticket"master" Or is it just random?

It disgusts me that there are currently 1,433 tickets to the May 14th show in Vancouver available on stub hub alone.

Just fucking disgusting.

Yep and that's just Stub Hub. There's other resellers including TM's own illegal entities. Sure every venue has literally thousands of tickets waiting to be scalped which means hardly any fans have access to anything. It's really a handful of casuals willing to pay high prices for seated tickets along with a few fans and a bunch of fan club members with GA tickets. The rest are empty seats either waiting to be purchased at face value or via a scalping site.

Just cause you list it on StubHub doesn't mean you really have it. A lot are UPS when it's all electronic tickets. Not sure how they will have them.

Yeah Ticketmaster has a link on their site (down towards the bottom of the page in small print), and it should allow you to punch in your zip code and it will bring up retail locations.

When I lived in FL and bought Tampa, the location was in an FYE at Sarasota Square Mall. My MI and PA 360 shows were both bought here in Ohio, at a grocery chain called Giant Eagle.
