Rockin the latest synergy jelly bean rom. So far very stable, no issues.

I had issues with cm, found that synergy rom worked perfect for my daily driver.

Anyone rockin one of the Nexus tablets? Got myself the Nexus 10 last week and it is brilliant. Very fast and responsive plus the screen is purrdy. Didn't hear great things about it's battery life, but I've had it on wifi since yesterday morning and playing videos and games and it's not needed charging since then.

I got the Nexus 7 around Xmas time and it's amazing. I rooted it right away but I will say it's pretty good right out of the box. Battery is good too. I usually get about 2 or 3 days with 6 hours screen on time.

The note2 says hello.

Looks like a great phone. I have less need for a phone that large now that I have a tablet. My upgrade is about 10 months from now. Should be interesting to see what the latest and greatest is then.

I just hate tablets so much, I find them inherently stupid. I like my Kindle Fire ok, but really I barely remember I have it.

This way, I have a lot of the tablet features I want, plus phone.

But I'd be lying if I didn't pretty much just buy this phone for multi-window

It really is. I'm usually big into rooting and custom roms and this is the first phone where I actually stayed on stock for close to a month.

Same. I really have no desire to root and flash a ROM, other than little annoyances like the persistent WiFi notification, but those things don't affect the performance whatsoever.

To get rid of that, go to WiFi settings, click on Smart Mode, and disable it.

So what are opinions on smartwatches? I personally find them useless, especially if it's as expensive and underwhelming as the Galaxy Gear.

I'm anxiously awaiting Galaxy Gear V2. I've wanted a smart watch more than anything in the entire world for most of my life. Holding back on Gear 1 is proving difficult, but I know it's the smart choice.

It's gotten slammed in reviews (e.g. the NY Times). Some early adopters are going for the Samsung, but it has a high return rate.

Got my Nexus 5 yesterday. Yum....

I loved the S4, but having this phone makes me realize how much Samsung oversaturates their color scale.

Does anyone have Virgin Mobile? Trying to find the best phone (not iPhone or Galaxy SIII as I don't want to pay 300-400 dollars) as I'd like to switch.

Looking at HTC One V, Victory LTE, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Reverb, Optimus Elite, etc.

I had Virgin Mobile for about a year and it wasn't too bad. The only problem is that the phones you've listed are not even close to a high end phone. The HTC One V is basically a remake of the HTD Evo 3D, which was its flagship model in 2011.

If you have no care for having a higher end phone and want to save on monthly costs, then Virgin is ok. If you're looking for a better phone (more expensive but worth it) but still want to save on montly prices, you may want to look at buying the Nexus 5 and then activating it on Straight Talk, which offers unlimited data for $45 per month. The only issue I've heard regarding Straight Talk though is that even though they say "unlimited", I've heard of them threatening to throttle customers for using too much.

I personally have the Nexus 5 on Sprint and couldn't be happier. Sprint's network has seen a lot of improvements this year.
