I think I have some form of amnesia where I forget that Rick Wright from Pink Floyd (who toured with David Gilmour on this solo tour) died, and then when I see him, I remember and get all sad again. :(
 
Pt 5

NOw I thionk this was BOOTs I really like this song and love it esp live

I'm almostsure it was this one but i'll have to synce my time indicators on my pics to be sure with when it's mentioned as the current (then) song on the SLP.......

SUddenly Bono & Edge are right in front of us singing part of Boots!!! :ohmy::ohmy::drool: I mange 2 pics!!!

I forgot that UTEOTW HAD BEEN MOVED UP IN THE SET.........SO WHEn the "sqiggly electronics" start up.............evey one goes extra crazy!

I get the (if not all clear) pretty nuch the whole sequence of B on the bridge reaching down over the bridge railing getting the white rose some one has for him! Actaually I DON'T YET KNow there's a flower of any kind...................

............but I FIND OUT later on reveiwing my pics that I have some of Bono & Edge ON the Brdges reaching out for each other for UTEOTW! ZOMFG!!! --- I really had NO thoughts of, less Expectation I'd get anything from that!!!!!!! At that point i didn't realize OR FORGOTTEN that (sometimes) ??? AAdam & Bono's Bridge is on the Opposite side at the start/middle of UTEOTW!

I always thought it had been rotated closer to Edge's Bridge !!!
 
Dazzled :hug: Sorry about the tall people in front of you, that sucks. And your foot. I was pretty much in agony too for a lot of the show. Somehow I forgot about it for a song or two when Zooropa came on. :lol:
 
David Crosby (and Graham Nash) are guests on this dvd for one song, they sing backup for a song. They did on the album, too. Anyway, every time I see David Crosby now, all I can think of is reading about him saying he bawled his eyes out when Melissa Etheridge and her wife/gf/whatever broke up. All I can see now is David Crosby with tears running down his chubby little cheeks, and I can't unsee it... :lol:

(that might sound mean, but David Crosby sort of reminds me of my brother, and the image just brings up a lot of weird but funny associations.)

Yeah, it was bad that night. It's been horrible since the Canada Day weekend when I went nuts and did all that yard work. Between the driving and the travel and the walking and the weather and the show, by the time it was done, I was toast. I was afraid I wouldn't make it back to the train station after. :lol:

So if any of you girls found me untalkative after the show, that's why.

I really need to start doing yoga again, or get to a chiropractor.

I was pretty dead by that point, too! I'm actually still in zombie-mode.

Yoga FTW, btw! After Montreal 1, I thought I was going to be SO SORE the next day, but I took a few minutes for some major stretching (and then Mia bent me into funny positions in bed- always room w/ someone studying chiropractic!) and I was fine the next day!

My back has been bad for years now. When I was seeing a chiropractor regularly, I'd bounce back pretty quickly. In 05, I'd be sore during the show and after, but fine by the next day. Not so much, now...

I went to bed before 9:30 last night, which is unheard of for me. :lol: Slept right through till 6:30. When I was lying in bed, I remembered that I'd promised a coworker a ride today, and should have set my alarm earlier. Then I thought "...going to bed this early, you'll be up before the alarm!" Yeah, didn't work out that way.

getting the kinds of photos ( while not as close as graces and everyone at the front/near front rail) I have been wanting, drwaming of these guys, this band for decades!!!!!
 
My back is all screwy, too. I have a weirdly fused vertebrae and a bit of a curve, so I've been visiting the "Rice Krispy Doctor" (snap, crackle, pop!!) since I was like 16. I'd rather let Edge bend me into fun positions, though!!

I'm SO TIRED, but my sister (one I like) is stopping by around midnight on her way to Florida, and I'm supposed to fill her in on all the important info. Otherwise I'd probably be asleep by 11!

I'm close with my sister, my brother has basically gone MIA from the family in the past 3 years. I'm angry at him, but times like this, I miss him, he's a music freak, gets my U2 thing, and he's the one person in the family I'd talk to about the show....
