Boo.

I went back at the end of the evening performance to try to meet Bono and saw both him AND Steve Lillywhite emerge from the theater. Not sure how Steve is involved but I didn't get a chance to chat thanks to an obnoxious TMZ reporter...
BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed that he is working with the cast and creative team on the show (as would be expected) and is getting 'hands-on' this week along with The Edge at all vocal rehearsals, orchestra work and other details of the production as he's made his commitment to the show well known to those at the Foxwoods Theatre.
There's no word yet on specific changes that might now be coming to the production now that it's composer and lyricist are on site, but we're told that work continues primarily this week on the show's new finale, work on the geek's bedroom scene and on tightening parts of the show's second act, with other work to come next. The show is in heavy rehearsal today throughout the Foxwoods Theatre and Studios.
Just got this from @U2:
Yes, There Will Be a Spider-Man CD (But Will It Have U2?)

Creative Goods, the company that runs the official Spider-Man: Turn
Off the Dark online store, says there will be a soundtrack CD released
soon ... but we don't know if U2 (or just Bono & Edge) will be on it
in any capacity aside from being the songwriters.
Ben Z., an @U2 reader, contacted the site recently to ask if and when
a Spider-Man soundtrack would be available. On Tuesday, Creative Goods
sent him this reply:
We anticipate the Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark CD to be released in
the next few months. Please check back.
It's quite possible (maybe likely) that the CD will not have U2 or
Bono & Edge, but instead will be the cast performing the songs that
Bono and Edge wrote for the production. Your guess is as good as ours.
Regardless, fans who want to hear the songs no matter who performs
them should be able to within a few months.
Just look at it this way. Chances are, in 2011, we'll be getting:And chances are, unless Danger Mouse suddenly turns into Speedy Gonzales, we'll be getting this soundtrack before we get an actual U2 album.

YES. DO IT.A friend of mine invited me to a local small theater production to see some guy's interpretation of what a Spiderman musical would/should be like. I'm expecting it to be pretty zany.
And it's called Spidermann.
I think I have to go.
