4 more shows! That's awesome Ali! :hyper:

Heard people were camping out for Melbourne 1? Bit of a change from Auckland, where at the 2nd show there were only 10 people in line at 10 am. :ohmy:

Ooooh thanks :heart : *prepares for a splinter filled night* :drool :

Glad you're feeling better :hug :

Sounds painful but fun. :sexywink::silent:

Glad you're feeling better Jem. :hug :

I know, glad I didn't do anything worse than that! :uhoh : :lol :

:) :up:

Yup! : D The only frustrating thing is that their main distribution centre is on the other side of the country, so it's not like they'll arrive here tomorrow. :lol : It will definitely take a few days, since it just left ON this morning. But it should hopefully arrive on time, which is a huge relief.

I went sleepwalking a few times as a kid, and on one occasion I nearly fell headfirst down a stairwell, but my dad caught me in time. :yikes : Haven't done it in about 20 years now, thankfully. I do talk in my sleep though, and have been known to have had full conversations with people that I cannot remember the next day. :lol :

I imagine they should be there in a few days. :hug:

:yiikes: Glad you got saved from the stairwell. :uhoh::hug: :heart:

Gahhh, can you imagine if we got to sleep in till 10am in Montreal? That would give me so much more time to get from Edge's hotel room to the stadium! :hmm:

I remember for Foxboro 2, we didn't start queuing til around 10:30-11 am(this was because I overslept :reject: ). There were only around 60-70 people in the queue.

:lol: I hate to tell you but if you want a rail spot you'd be lucky at that time. Though leaving Edge's room would be worth the sacrifice for you :wink: As DG said, we got so lucky in Boston. :up: Since Montreal is mostly GA I imagine it could be busy. :crazy: :lol: Still you never know with clusterfucks. :hmm: Look at me going out 1st night in Athens with 2 Interferencers and their friends. :D Am so lucky Cathal put me in a taxi to my hotel :bow: was so unbelievably drunk ( Bad hotels with free JD :shifty: ) :reject: LMAO!! . Was meant to be at stadium for 7am ish. I got woke up late ( had passed out drunk forgetting to set my alarm. :reject:) at 10am. Decided to shower and take advantage of hotel breakfast. Went to internet room, posted on The Crack. Got to stadium for midday/12.30pm and managed front rail in front of Adam. Only due to clusterfuck being let in and running like hell. ( Took me until Snow Patrol came on to recover from run LMAO :reject: ). Was SOOO LUCKY!!! <3

For Foxboro 1, we were in the 250's or something. But then around 2 PM everyone had to put their stuff away in their cars and then the line was a giant clusterfuck :crack:, so we wound up getting pushed closer to the front. Barely made the outer rail that night. :crack: And then we had drunken Aussies in back of us and there was this creepy lady who showed up at the end of Snow Patrol and was trying to edge her way onto the outer rail. :tsk:

1 ) Clusterfucks. :madwife:
2) Once I knew you were ok, I ran and got those last spots. :up:
3)Drunken Aussie guy preventing me from sitting before SP came on and 4) Don't come between sets creeper people. :angry:

Thora. :lol: My idea of a normal lie in would be 10/11/12am. :reject: Depends how much sleep I had night before. :lol:

Talking of which, its 3am. Should get to bed. :huh::lol::reject:

Night girls. :hug::heart:

Yeah, my idea of sleeping in is anything past 8am. :lol: :reject: I have to get up at 6am on weekdays, so if I can sleep past 8am, I'm happy.

I was just going to say something about how late you were up! :giggle:

Sleep well! :hug:

Yeah, there were 50 people in the queue on Tuesday night! I rocked up at 10am-ish and was #519... I don't know why, but people queue madly here. I'd much prefer a system where you can show up, get a number, and then everyone comes back later. :shrug:

I dunno how come Auckland was so laid back. Were both shows like that or just the second one? I'm wondering if tomorrow's queue will be a bit less full-on, especially if the weather's like it is today... it's gone from heavy rain to warm sun and humidity to a huge windy/rainy squall that looked like a freaking hurricane or something and made our lights flicker... so glad that didn't happen in the city yesterday!

:hyper:: up: So glad you enjoyed it all. Hasn't the show got so much better since Europe 1st leg? :wink:

*hidesin Ali's back for all the rest of Aussie shows.* :shifty:

Ali. :sexywink::lol:

Its cold here.Needz warmth. :lol:

They're definitely using the stage better, I reckon. :up:

In my back...? :giggle: *wonders what that strange growth is on her spine*

Ohaithar Jem... :flirt: :lol:

:wave: ^Jealous of you!!!

I just got done seeing Spiderman...dead tired in Penn Station now. But it was epic!!! :hyper: The effects and everything were amazing. But of course I think the music was the higlight :drool: :heart:

They only had to stop the show once tonight, for less than five minutes. Spiderman was dangling :giggle:

The set was absolutely amazing. I can see why it was so expensive. And all the flying was really well done. They were zooming all over the threatre, pretty fast too. There was an airborne fight scene which was awesome.

Most of the songs were unmistakeably U2-ey. There were several songs besides BFFTS who's lyrics were soooo quintessential Bono :heart:

They played Vertigo at the beginning of one scene and I wasn't the only one I could hear singing along :lol: There were a few other references thrown in too, which was cute.

I think this thing is really going to take off. Compared to what I read of the first night, they seem to really be getting it under control, and the theatre was completely full at least in the section where I was.

I'm glad I got to see it...a perk of living in New York :happy:

Oooh awesome! :applaud: Lucky! Thank you for the update! You should go post this in the Spider-man thread. :hmm: That thread could use a bit more :heart: and someone just asked if there were any more reports on the latest shows.

Ok, will do :D

Then it's straight to bed...I have to be up in 5 1/2 hours. :crack:

There was a group of teenage U2 fans who had been to see the show in front of me on the train home :cute:
