I am amazed how many people in Italy got their SLR in! So many pic where taken with SLR's! Makes me bummed out because I didn't take mine.

I wonder if it annoys him to see people filming the concert instead being in the moment with them. Every single person in that picture has a camera. That would bug the crap out of me. You spend the whole time worried about your camera or a picture and you miss the whole moment. How is there magic in that? I take a few pictures and then put my camera away for the rest of the show. Live in the moment people. :D

I bet he does, I think Edge certainly does, but the thing is you can't fight it.
You just can't. Everyone has one.
The only thing that might help is prohibiting camera's completely.
But that would make allot of people mad.

It bugs me sometimes that I end up watching a show through other people's camera screens (the curse of being short), but then I sometimes fall into the mode of taking too many pictures and getting caught up in that.

But. That's concert-going life in 2010. Nothing you can do about it, everyone's got a camera, and everyone lives their life digitally. It's the way it is now, like it or not.

EXACTLY! That's what I think too. That's why I almost never take pictures, especially not when they're walking by. I just think it's kind of weird.. You're dying to see them live, IN REAL, and then you're looking if your pictures are allright. Yep, live in the moment!

 Makes me kinda sad to see too. I didn't bring a camera to any of the shows I went to. I'm one of those people who fumbles and stuggles to take a single picture. I may take one to one show next year, just to get a few pics, but I'm old fashioned I guess. I don't like the idea of that distraction from the pure exhilaration of a moment that can't really be captured on film.
But to each his own, and I certainly appreciate the efforts of those who are bringing each show to us through pictures and videos.

Hmm , I like photography to much not to take photo's.
U2 and my camera , are  to me. But thats becuase I love both.
I do take the time to put my camera away, when they come really close.
Like when Bad or UTTEOTW starts I know Edge is comming over the bridge , I just stop taking pictures and enjoy and jump and dance.
Or are playing a song that matter very much to me. You just have to .
What I don't get is that most people make picture's from their ipone and stuff , and you know they are going to come out crappy.
I think its safe to say if your pictures are good, the result is worth it for me.

It's not just this thread. It's not just now and I am NOT the only one who's been incredibly annoyed by this. :| It's every thread, for the past months.
