'Glee' Hunk Mark Salling to Release Album | PopEater.com

Glee' star Mark Salling announced today he's releasing his debut album in October, Entertainment Weekly reports. The album, titled Pipe Dreams, will be released on Salling's own label, Pipe Dream Records.

The album is set to include rock and roll, alternative, and '60s folk-beat era sound. The Glee star is planning to write, perform and produce every song on the record, UsMagazine reports.

Salling stopped by Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Tuesday morning and revealed the first song from his album, Higher Power. Listen to the song here.

The 27-year-old actor plays Puck on the hit FOX show and is most known for his covers of 'Sweet Caroline' and 'Good Vibrations.'
 
I've always thought Leo is a good actor, but he's never really done much for me in the way of looks. I've always thought he's just kind of mediocre.

But I must say, in Inception, in that suit and tie he wears, he looked mighty fine. I very much approved of him in that suit. :up:
 
I'm really curious to see 'Inception', that movie sounds incredibly intriguing. Never had a crush on Leonardo, either, personally, but at the same time, I can easily see why he appeals to some girls. He is a good-looking guy, I can't deny that. Just never went gaga over him the way some girls did. But of course, to each their own :).

Regarding "Glee", you girls can fight over Puck all you want (but you'll have to get in line behind my sister-she likes him and Finn), I'll go for their teacher, Mr. Schuster. I've got a bit of a thing for him-I think it's the way he dresses, I love it when men dress the way he does. Go back and forth a bit on whether or not I'm fond of his curly hair, but otherwise...he's got my vote for sexiest "Glee" guy. In the Madonna episode when he was singing "Like A Virgin" with the redhead girl (whose name escapes me at the moment), I, um...kinda wanted to be her :shifty:. And then tonight my sister and I caught up on the last few episodes of this season of the show, and when he did "Tell Me Something Good"...uh...yeah. Me likey.

Love the Green Day shots as well, my sister'll have to see this thread, I guess, she'd love this (Billie Joe, another one you'll have to fight her for). Mike Dirnt reminds me SO MUCH of somebody else, but I cannot for the life of me think of who it is. Agh. And as for the Beatles, I'd go for Paul and George. They were the cutest ones, imho, George in particular (though maybe that's just 'cause he and Neil Finn look like they could be related sometimes). I'll check out that video clip of them doing "Satisfaction" and "Hey, Jude". I remember reading an article with Green Day last year and hearing about the stuff Billie Joe likes to listen to and the songs he chooses to cover in concert-I love a man who has awesome musical tastes :drool:.

And Bruce...um, yeah, I think virtually every woman on this board loves looking at Bruce. He's quite popular here. He may be 60, but I think he's going to win "sexiest man" awards until the day he dies. And even after that, perhaps.

Yes, Green Day has great taste in music but if only their own music could be great...:shrug: :lol:

One reason Bruce is so loved is because he's hard-working, fun and down to earth..and downright FIT. Case in point...

I think you, Maddy, LoveandLogic, and I must be related somehow-we seem to find ourselves in agreement a lot :p. Which I have no problem with, mind.

I screamed, loudly, twice in a row at a horror movie last weekend, and yet I still think I could handle this movie, LOL. If I or anyone else here get a chance to see it, maybe we can give you a bit of info and our thoughts on it (spoiler-free) and then you can figure out if you'll be able to watch it :).

Exactly! Thank you! Glad to see I'm not alone here. You said it, Maddy, :faint: indeed-he was trying to mess with Sue, was hamming up the sexiness, and he still managed to look hot in the process. How does that work?

He'd have to be fit what with all the running around on stage and 3 hour long shows I hear he puts on! He does indeed seem to put a lot of time and effort into what he does, he obviously enjoys his work, and I think that's cool. Definitely seems like a genuinely normal, everyday guy-I have no problem believing he'd come over to your house and have a meal and watch a game or something with you in your living room, whether you were the president or Joe Schmoe from Lincoln, Nebraska. I admire that, too. And I'm sure many a woman wouldn't dare to turn him away if he showed up on their doorstep ;). I know my mom wouldn't :D.

He's in few bands(Glassjaw, Head Automatica), I don't think he's done any solo work. He does some hardcore rock stuff, some progressive, experimental stuff, mostly with Glassjaw. Head Automatica is sort of powerpop. He's also done some hip hop. :D Really unique guy.
