And John... if you wanted to be pedantic about the definition of 20, it's technically the last year in the decade that contained your teens, as 21 would be the first year of your twenties... technically.

It's like when everyone was crapping on about 2000 being the start of the "new millenium"...

</pedant>

But technically this is the 21st year of my life

UABRS is classed as a live album, WAIA as an EP ... of course, the longer release upon which WAIA is based is The Unforgettable Fire single. The definitions are clearly blurred.

And yeah, if new songs and HMTMKMKM are in the set, well shit, that's a MASSIVE improvement on last year's dreck.

Ah yes, the epic UF single of legend.

I wonder if they're going to keep YBR... I'd rather that than Miss S. Well, I'd rather One Minute Warning or Beach Sequence if they're going to dip into Passengers, but I'm dreaming. ;)

I suspect YBR might well be dead ... I don't think they helped the song's cause with that silly astronaut part though. Made the whole song feel very artificial.

Beach Sequence would be a cool intro to NYD, and One Minute Warning might actually have enough of a tempo to keep the casuals awake. Truth be told, though, this is the sort of stuff that would be much better suited to an arena tour.

Was there a year 0 though or did it start at one...I wish I was born in Year 0

*L* I'm not convinced any calendar has even started in its nominal year 1... I reckon by the time someone thought it was a good idea to number the years from when Jeebus was born, it was a good while afterwards and no one was quite sure exactly when that happened. Since apparently now the consensus is that he was born in 4 BC rather than 1 AD or whatever you'd call it.

I wish I was born in the year 1 BC... which would make me pretty damn old now. Mmm, geological time.

Alas. :(

Well, I reckon we've as much chance of seeing an arena tour here as we have of seeing OMW played anywhere. Ah well.

I would just like to let everyone know that I am eating soup which contains, among other things, "Great Northern Beans".

I wonder if there are any Greater Western Carrots or Pygmy Southern Artichokes to go with that...?

Yeah, fuck sitting, I think all the diehards in the front row will MAKE the venue stand!

Oh god, if U2's GAs cost more than last time, I'm going to be the brokest broke.

Oh hello savings account, just sitting around doing nothing right now, are you?

My mp3 player is outdoing itself today on random mode....

Between Crowdies tickets and awesome musics, I'm almost enjoying cancelling bloody sales orders.

I am going to be so broke for Xmas, especially if U2 puts in an appearance.

 I can get you GA's something in return for the muse tickets...or something along those lines. Assuming it all happens before muse.

Gonna give the crowdies a miss. I'm really not feeling it. Which is shame.

That is a shame... I can sympathise though. I was feeling the same way about U2 until today, and that may change again... *L*

Definitely a deal for GAs if it works out though!

Heh, Daniel, I'd understand more if you said you weren't feeling it about U2 rather than Crowdies, given respective setlist varieties.

But yeah, ew, Rod Laver. How I wish it was the Forum or the Palace ... or my ultimate pipedream, the East Brunswick Club!

Charlotte and I are off to get delicious baked goods for late lunch ...

Hey Ax, what are the odds that Wild Glastonbury Rose gets played next week?

Also, hi everyone else
