'Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer' seems to be the favorite for most of us here. I'd go with that one, it's the album I started with and then backtracked through the rest of their catalog.

Yup, I followed your advice and started with it, very good album. Then I listened to "Satanic Panic In the Attic" (which I also liked a lot) and "Skeletal Lamping" (noot so good as the other two).
Now I'm half-way through "The Sunlandic Twins" and I'm loving it.

Also, make sure you see Thee Oh Sees. That's the only good/good live band that I know of, on that bill. Regardless of the company, they're a fucking blast. DO NOT MISS THEM!!!
