'Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer' seems to be the favorite for most of us here. I'd go with that one, it's the album I started with and then backtracked through the rest of their catalog.

Yup, I followed your advice and started with it, very good album. :) Then I listened to "Satanic Panic In the Attic" (which I also liked a lot) and "Skeletal Lamping" (noot so good as the other two).
Now I'm half-way through "The Sunlandic Twins" and I'm loving it.

That's a cute video. I like how there's a bit of a tease for the first minute or so - like "is Boner in the room with them?!?" and then ahhhhh there's the old bastard. And they're jokin around and such. And it is good to see him. Definitely put a smile on my face when I saw it this morning.

I could swear he winced slightly upon standing up. They probably digitally erased the cables that hoisted him out of his chair.

I'm really happy the re-scheduling is in the summer. Now I won't miss the show. I would have had it been in May or something. First U2 show ever: July 14th, 2011. MARK IT DOWN.

I'm sorry :(
Dont hate me

Someone is really tempting fate here.

A lot can happen in 12 months. Especially to you and/or Philly.

So, I'm listening to Symphonicities and kind of digging the hell out of it. Really was a no-brainer though, as a fan of both orchestral music and the Police/Sting. Still, it's a really cool little gimmick, and I'm glad he did it.

Nice lineup. And it's a good thing they cleared up who this Panda Bear character is.

Man Man need to put a new album out.

I liked the first half better than the second, but it's pretty cool.

When did they abbreviate the name of Fuck Yeah Fest?

Also, make sure you see Thee Oh Sees. That's the only good/good live band that I know of, on that bill. Regardless of the company, they're a fucking blast. DO NOT MISS THEM!!!

Differences of opinion. I'll forever go to bat for the The Rapture Cannot Play (or couldn't, in 2003) team. Remember, though, the "that I know of." I know nothing of The Blow. I can only assume it's '80s-style something-or-other...?

Really, though, don't miss Thee Oh Sees. I'm not trying to hate. I'm trying to spread the love. Really fun shows, really Californian, really wild. What's not to love?

I think last year, when they moved from local venues to a state park right next to downtown. And it's kind of idiotic for there to be an extra "F", though maybe that's some kind of indie ironiy.

And Laz, don't miss Warpaint. I've been pimping them since SXSW.

Old news, they play here all the time.

Unsurprising given the fact that they're from LA, but it felt worthy of a mention since my previous attempts at pimping them were thwarted by indifference.

Plus they're Grade A cuties.
