And it was SO awesome! It was a fun yet stressful afternoon.

In 2000, we watched Canada in the gold medal game, and between the 1st and 2nd period, I raced out and made a beer run, and then Canada ended up winning. I decided to try that again this time, and it worked. :superstitious: And of course, once you get the beer, you have to drink it.

And it was SO awesome! It was a fun yet stressful afternoon.

I'm STILL on a high, when I think about it. What an incredible game.

That night, I couldn't get to sleep, I was so hyped. I think I was up till 4 am.

Thankfully I had many hours left to calm down before I went to bed that night, but still was grinning from ear to ear the next morning.


Oh my god, I'm watching the Oscar red carpet show on ABC, and the show's only a few minutes in, and the host people have already said 2 things that could sound VERY dirty! One guy referred to that Zac Effron (sp?) kid as an "adult film actor" and one lady called her jewelry "drippage." This is so unintentionally amusing!!

I haven't seen any movies either (that I can remember), but I'm a sucker for awards shows. I think this is the first year ever that I've seen none of the big name movies. I just haven't been in the mood to pony up the money to go to the theatres. It's just too damn expensive, and I'd rather wait to see them on DVD, when it's cheaper.

Between Wild and Jem is Flyyourkite/Michelle. Need to get in touch with her and see if she's coming to TO next leg. She couldn't come in Sept, because she's in med school (SO proud of her!!) and it was during the week, and she was too busy to take the time off.

I actually have Wings of Desire and Faraway, So Close! I've watched the former, but not the latter. It's been so long since I've seen the former though, I feel like I have to watch it again before I watch the latter. I think two subtitled movies back to back might be a little much for me tonight, though.
