I don't see them doing a Best Of this decade for awhile, remember that was a part of their deal with Island, they had to release 3 compilations, they did that, they're in the middle of a deep songwriting vein, with plenty of cash flowing in, save the retrospectives for the end, or at the very least for a dry period.

I'm of the opinion that most remixes are shit and this one only solidified that opinion further!Not thrilled about the gorgeous Moment Of Surrender raped into a 4 or 5 min radio single but anyway, this is about 4 singles too late. I can't say I like it, but I don't think it's much worse than any of the other hundreds of boring remixes that are already on U2 singles. I certainly don't find myself offended by it. Do people here get this worked up about every remix?

It's a shame NLOTH2 was already a b-side, it would have been an awesome single imo.

Yep, and I heard MOS in a Michigan City Big Lots, which took an excellent day to the next level. Hearing a good song on the radio is uncommon enough, but a 7 minute non-single is simply epic.
Personally, I think it would be a fantastic radio song, particularly at night. It's always reminded me of those slick ambient tracks used in luxury car commercials, and who wouldn't want to be in one of those??

Well, I don't like it, so to speak, but I don't think it's as utterly awful as everyone is saying. I don't know, I can see it getting played at a club, even if a serious song about heroin addiction probably wouldn't set a club full of eccy neckers and the underaged on fire.
