Hi my name is Kristen and I'm a concertaholic too :crack:
It's been a week since my last concert and I'm already looking up hotel prices in cities I think they might play next year. I've applied for a bunch of new jobs in the past couple days just to make as much money as possible for the next leg, and yes I'm going hungry but it'll be well worth it

The thing I'm dreading about the Tampa show is the traffic :reject:

How big is the Tampa stadium? The Rose Bowl is expecting over 90,000, maybe 96,000. They sent out an email today about parking information. And I'm truly dreading it too. That's the worst part. The hanging out in line all day I can do.

I read earlier that traffic is backed up to the stadium too

Can't be as bad as last year. For my college graduation gift, I got tickets to see the final show Bruce played at Giants Stadium last summer. We got there early and were perplexed as to why the stadium was still empty at 8:15 when the show was supposed to start. We eventually learned that a tanker truck had overturned right at the exit where everyone had to get off the highway. Show didn't start until 9:30 and went until 12:45... ended up being a magical night, but traffic coming and going was a nightmare!

I know it gets mixed reviews, but priceline saved me a bundle on Toronto hotel rooms. We stayed at the Westin for $50 +tax and bed was the best thing ever and the room was huge. I'm trying to think of cities too.. hmmm :)

Hey Diane

For me, it's not even so much about the concerts, it's that my brief escape from reality at home is over. :sigh:

I wish so much that I had the money to just follow the tour. If I win the lottery these next few months, that's what I will do...as if!!!

I'm happy that I am going to the Gavin Friday concert at Carneige Hall in a couple of weeks. I'll get to see the guys again in a different type of performance, which will be very interesting!

:yikes:

It was nice of them to delay the show though.

haha, I've been doing the same! If they hit Michigan at all, I don't need a hotel. And if they hit any place in Ohio or Pittsburgh I don't need a hotel. Which would allow me to go to 3 shows in places I would need a hotel. I already have a saving open to put money in for U2 shows next year.

Gillette Stadium parking was horrid but I'm glad I came on here before the show to read that the south entrance was the best way out. We were actually back to the hotel earlier than we thought, it was still late but thank you for those who kept us informed.

oh goodness:) i bet it WAS a nightmare:)

I'm betting on Magnificent opening tonight, and a very similar set to Boston 2. I wouldn't be surprised if Breathe returns as opener tomorrow night.

This show is so worth any traffic inconvenience.
