Cori and Mofo were in my dream last night. They were an "item." Mofo was using his charming smile at full wattage.

:cute:

In Boston with a room perched over Logan looking out for the 360 plane (I have a feeling they will use Bedford though). We'll start making our trip down to Foxboro in an hour or so. :yippeee:

Congratulations Zoner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have an awesome time!

My first U2 show was pretty much unremarkable. Just insert an early OUtside Broadcast show into the mix, and that was it.

The only memorable bit I remember was Bono having some mike problems during Unchained Melody, and he mumbled "Shut the fuck up" against the static.

So I've finally weeded through the bootlegs I'd downloaded. There are a handful of really good-sounding audience recordings - yay!

Also? I totally love it when there's a radio broadcast of the show. Radio broadcast = awesome sounding bootleg. (With the exception of that show from the Vertigo tour that was broadcast, and the recording sounds kind of wonky and tinny.)

Broadcasts ftw! The only audience recordings I tend to get are ones I have been too, I have very little patience for listening to people sing off key or have conversations...

My ticket situation fell through, so I'm not sure if I'll see them again this year. Most likely not, actually.

Can you translate what they are saying in the video? I do not speak Canadian and have NO idea what they are saying (the people taking the video).

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I am not sure if I have had more sober fun at a U2 show than I had last night. We were inside the inside-y thing and had A LOT of space to jump and dance around. It was a blast. Decent setlist (not as good as last Sunday though).

Post show, saw a crowd of interlanders (Jesseu2, Diamond, Cleasai, etc.).

Next up...NJ on Thursday.

The encore isn't that long - only three songs.

We got the standard show last night, no Your Blue Room, which was disappointing. But hearing The Unforgettable Fire and Ultraviolet was awesome.

The stage setup is immense. Even showing up late, we were still able to get fairly close on the field. From a production standpoint, it was fantastic. Obviously, I'd like more than a basic set list, but that's to be expected at this point. That's why I personally can't bring myself to go to more than one show on a multi-night stand, because I know there won't be much change in the songs - watch them bring back YBR now. However, I'm there again next year if it happens.

The energy of the crowd was off the charts. The whole place was really rocking out, which produced a great atmosphere. 'Twas a good time overall.

I'm on my own for Vancouver in October. The boy doesn't want to take two days off work to go with me to see U2. :grumpy:

Here's hoping they do Seattle next year so I can drag him to the show and convert him share my musical joy with him.

If there is a Floridian that needs to become acquainted with the business end of my musket, let me know. After what happened Saturday, I'm more than happy to punish someone from your state.

Oddly enough, both times I've seen them "back to back", I enjoyed the second show more than the first. Glad to hear you had a good time, Phanny.

I've only done the back-to-back shows twice: Seattle on the Vertigo tour, and now Chicago. Both times, the second night far outshone the first.

Please deliver your brand of Utahian justice to the campus of THE U! as soon as possible. Thanks, bye.

Booo Bus Stop Boy!

what, like I imagined going to the shows? :hmm:

Until I see photographic proof I'll think that you did imagine just going to the shows and BoMac is taking a page from Bono's book and is lying to us about meeting you.
