Maybe you could meet up with someone who's driving by where you live and chip in gas money Weldy?

VP, if the dates are next summer then I hope to travel. And I will definetly have my passport by then so I can make it up to Canada.

That fucking passport thing pisses me off. Ridiculous.

There's an option here instead of getting a passport, you can get an "enhanced drivers license" that will allow you to cross the border by land. I'll probably end up getting one of those.

(I just remembered your dvd - I was thinking that since it's so close, I might just send it with Jem, and because I've taken so long, I'll try to send an extra treat in there for you.)

Don't worry about sending anything extra-the DVD is more than enough!

I also want to get my passport because hopefully I will be going to Ireland in the next year or two. My mom is dying to go, so that's a point in my favor.

You guys have Amtrak. We have ViaRail. It's crazy. For us to take the train to Toronto, it's like around $50. Toronto is approx. an hour from me, realistically, given traffic, maybe two hours. I can drive to Buffalo, just over an hour from me, and take the train to either Boston or NYC for around $100.

Going to Chicago last tour, we drove just over the Michigan border to Port Huron, maybe 90 minutes away, and then took the train there to Chicago for less than $30 each. It would have been well over $400 each to fly.

Being an airplane-phobe ( :reject: ) I've discovered that travelling to any number of places east of Chicago by train is relatively cheap. If you're thinking of travelling for future legs/tours, maybe you could look into that?

It's not that (since I have an idea of how to get there and home)...it's just that there is this event on the 11th that I was thinking (and I do mean thinking) about going to and it would pose a problem since I want to be able to go home and come back to Soldier Field with time to spare and I know there are limited Pace buses on Saturdays.

It's confusing explaination...but it was the best I can think of at the moment.

Doubt it....I'm usually not :hyper: about talking about U2 24/7 to other people...if at all (Besides...I usually just wear the t-shirts and let it start the conversations most of the times  )

But I appreicate the idea and I'll think it over  :hmm:

LOL No problem:wink:

I just took a quiz to see what type of old person I would be and it said. Yo are the crazy old person: You're flat out frickin' insane! How you managed to stay out of the loony bin is anyone's guess. You like to stay locked up inside your h...ouse. That's probably where the rumors about the crazy witch lady came from. You don't care about the rumors though, you have much more important things to worry about! Like keeping your 742 porcelain dolls dust free, which is really hard to concentrate on with those ghosts misplacing all of your things! Maybe it's Alzheimer's, maybe there really are ghosts. But you'll be damned if you let that trouble-makin squirrel spill its glass of wine all over your torn grey dress and 47 necklaces and magical charms again!.

 I think I would be more of the I dont give a damn or get off my damn lawn! old person

Thank yas!

Just rough since I lost my friend I would stay up hours of the night talking to online who is from West Virgina over something stupid and I lost all the friends I had out here where I am at when my Dad got ill in March. From what one of them said " I don't want to deal with this crap, you here dealing with your Dad being ill its to much BS I cant be around that type of crap" I'm like well thanks:|

The only friend I have left lives a couple ours from me, luckily we have October to go rock out to each another to look forward too but I wish we live closer, could use moments like this to have her around, just always makes me laugh cause she is kind of insane but in a good way.

I've been thinking about moving to Ohio I have some good friends out there, but Id ont have that kind of money and I couldn't leave my Dad like that and I don't think I could be on own yet. I dont even drive yet.

I'm just lonely and I really hate it :sigh:

Losing a friend is rough. :( And some of you other friends don't seem too helpful. A friend is supposed to be there till the end. But your other friend sounds really cool! That sucks that you don't live closer.

Rock the f*ck out in October!!

I think that moving out on your own is a choice you should make when the time is right. Your dad needs you right now and plus, you gotta finish learning to merge.
Hang in there. You can do this.

I'm for sure being friggen rockin out in Rocktober in GA baby!

Well she stopped being friends with over a tv show of all things its pretty stupid but we talked for about 4 years she was kind of getting weird towards the end anyways she would go on these mood swing trips and go complete psycho on me talk about cutting herself and crap it would get to me but I stayed there for her and let her take everything out on me, talk it out, and what not just so she wouldnt do stupid crap but she was odd to come to think of it, kind of stressed me out. But Im just type of person you need a shoulde rto lean on Im there no matter how insane it maybe.

Yup got to get that merging down I think it was amusing at my last lesson when I grinned when I was going 60 and Im scared of driving:lol:

Whoo! About 21 days left, for me!!! :yippie:

Wow. A TV show. :| :crack:

 So far my parents have just taken me on back roads. Maybe they're scared to take me down to the city.  I've driven down there probably 5 out of 10 of my required hours. And I've parallel parked about 4-5 times. More times than an average person has done in their life.

Lucky Im so jealous, I was looking for tix for one of the shows before October but I couldnt afford it and miss that much school.

I cant even park! I can a little bit but I never parallel parked. My Dad got all nervous in neighborhood driving. I drive great in resident areas and downtown etc according to my instructor but the faster or more traffic there is the more nervous I get, I drove the interstate for the first time and I was like shaking but proud cause I face my fear. Just sucked on the way back I went out at the wheel for a couple of secs scared me

 I've gotta work on making smoother turns. :yikes: :giggle:
I've driven on the interstate about 3 times. :) I did pretty well, according to the driving instructor and my mom (who was sitting in on one of my driving sessions.)

OMG I just have to say, I'm listening to POPMart Karaoke...Edge is fookin' adorable when he's singin' Daydream Believer. Then he messed it up and he's like, "Cheer up...oh...." :lmao:

haha I don't really do that and I don't really let the wheel slide through my hands. I just need to work on my turns cuz I sometimes take them too fast.

Yeah, I gotta get to bed at some point too. I woke up at about two hours ago and couldn't get back to bed. I'll head off to bed at 5, or something. hah That's the time I have to get up for school. School starts on Tuesday! Sophomore year in high school! :hyper:
