Impy, out of all the Paul songs, you choose I Will?! Not that I'm advocating putting more of his songs on the list, but still.

It's a sentimental favorite for a variety of reasons.

To comment on your list, which I dug, "Don't Let Me Down" barely missed out for me.

"Which one of you girls is okay with taking this guy upstairs? He says he'll pay double the normal rate."

"(Sigh)...I will."

Ahh, memories.

That's because Harrison was the most underrated Beatle. Tremendous song.

If we're going on a Harrison tangent, it's also worth noting how much I adore "Flying" and "Blue Jay Way." They're also the only worthwhile things about Across the Universe. Because the Secret Machines kick ass.

I really really love Alison Krauss' voice.

Bluegrass, country, duet with Raitt, singing with Zeppelin, whatever the fuck......little slice of heaven.

Please excuse me while I clean bits of brain off of my wall. Holy shit.

It's a ridiculous task, but i'll quickly come up with something:

1. I'm Only Sleeping
2. Strawberry Fields Forever
3. I'm So Tired
4. Getting Better
5. I Want To Hold Your Hand
6. She Loves You
7. Ticket To Ride
8. Girl
9. I Feel Fine
10. We Can Work It Out
11. For No One
12. The Ballad of John and Yoko
13. Love You To
14. Sexy Sadie
15. The End

Pretty unorthodox list there, Gaffer, but I like it.

To continue on the Beatles front, I just did a bit of record shopping after applying at a new bar downtown. A quick tour of three stores. At the last one, I was about to pick up Feels until I saw Magical Mystery Tour in the new arrivals bin. I've never seen a copy of it with the entire booklet intact until now. Naturally, it was purchased. No scratches or nuffin.

Nice find! I've got a few Beatles albums on vinyl: Abbey Road (a first U.S. pressing), Revolver, Rubber Soul, and The Beatles (complete with the original poster and lyric sheet). Plus a couple 45s: "Hey Jude/Revolution" and "Help!/I'm Down." And, I also have All Things Must Pass, which is just epic on 4 LPs.

Nice. You've talked about your White Album before and I'm quite jealous. I've got Abbey Road, Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pep's, now Magical Mystery Tour, and a supposedly excellent copy of Revolver. I don't know much about what pressings are worth more, but it was a gift from my dad and an expensive one at that.

All Things Must Pass is on the to-get list. I've got Double Fantasy and Shaved Fish, but that does it for my solo stuff.
