watching music videos from my golden era (early 00s, which included wheatus, eminem, the offspring... back when 70% of the songs which were in the charts were actually good, compared to the 10% now

My boss. He rules.

I asked wether it was a huge problem to get another week off this summer since I've been asked to come to Paris to see U2 there with a friend, and he said it was totally no problem! It's against the rules to have more than 3 weeks off consecutively, now I have four weeks off and he doesn't mind at all.
He also gave me 9 hours this next thursday, which is a national holiday so I get paid double.

:uhoh: I'm gonna need that money badly for this trip. July's gonna have me end up broke for the first time in my life.

Having attracted a girl with the vinegar or being argumentative, sarcastic, egotistical, atheistical, and scientific.

Waking up dreading the thought of having to go to work and realising we have today and tomorrow off

weee hooo . . . thats the best kind of little euphoria kick really . . . . did you do one of these > :happydance: :D

I really did! I had to enrol officially by 5pm last Friday, and of course I forgot until sometime on Saturday, so I spent until Sunday evening kicking myself. On Sunday night in desperation, I went to the website determined to find the small print on late registration as I am surely not the first student to just completely FORGET the next batch of torture, right? :der: So, I was just chuffed to see that I actually had until midnight on Sunday, and furthermore until Wednesday (yesterday) to actually enrol, but from midnight on Sunday would have incurred a $55 late fee. I finished the forms at 11.15pm :D

So, things I love? God, so much lately. My life is on some huge up right now. It's truly amazing.
I love that the husband has another job - just a contract, but the mortgage is covered.
I love that I have virtually no credit card debt right now and some other money pits have had their fill recently.
I love that my dogs are just awesome, despite their being a pair of buggers. They truly are the naughtiest dogs in the street.
I love the beautiful behaviour of my kids - except The Good Son who may or may not be teething. He may also just be a potential hoodlum. But his 1st birthday is tomorrow and he is my little mate and I am really gushy lately. So there.
I love the rain. Except the flooding the poor chaps in SE QLD are getting again, it's rejuvenating.
I love that I've had this period of good times. I can see glimpses of more rocky stuff on the horizon, so it was nice to have this break for a bit before things go sour.
I LOVE Doyles. Man, Watsons Bay is just as good as the Rocks was. What a lunch!!! Fucking wow!!! Seriously, if you visit Sydney, eat at Doyles. It's ridiculously overpriced and swanky, but man. I dressed up - wore my good thongs and clean jeans and all. They still treated us like royalty
I love that I got a LFC shirt for $80 today!!! Regular price $140, but Rebel had 20% off for NRMA members so I pretended to be my sister and bought it for the husband with him being in the shop and not even noticing. That's half his bday taken care of.
I love my new computer. I love that HP who are a bunch of bastards sold it to us so cheap. BASTARDS!!
I love that Telstra are STILL asking for this 9 cents. Do you freaks not realise? You're not getting it!

It's Red Shield Appeal on Sunday, Aussies. Dig deep, even if it is only a few bucks.

Maxi dresses

I got three inexpensive for the summer-they cover, you don't have to wear Spanx or even shave your legs ;) I'm not a dress person but they're comfortable for me, I like them.

 Still love my job! We got the frozen foods section back this week, I've been working at that section for 3 years when it suddenly was taken off our sections and to another. Now we got it back and they really messed up. HA, we knew that would happen! And I'm getting extra hours saturday, and two extra days of work next week while I've a week off to get it all back to how it was when we were in charge. :D I love this section and I'm going to enjoy working there again!

That kidlet number 3 sailed through his little operation without so much as a hiccup - didn't exactly come out smiling but he's super fine now
< *breathes-big-fat-sigh-of-relief* and does a big ole :happydance:

Hurrah! :D And I love how you call them kidlets, gets me everytime.
