Miro, you're going?

I will be buying tickets with the intention of going. October is just too damn far away (which is fine really, I want to enjoy my summer) and who knows how things will be then. But yes!

:hyper:

can anyone tell me what the transport links are like from the strip to the Sam Boyd?

I don't drive

Cabs will be extremely hard to come by as there will be a ton of people trying to get back to the strip. I know they have buses that stop there, but again, might be a long wait. Perhaps make friends with some people on this board who may have a car, or make friends with the people next to you. That's what we did for PopMart and they drove us back no problem.

On PopMart, we took a taxi to Sam Boyd Stadium. There were 4 of us (2 guys, 2 girls). The other female was on crutches too. We had a great ride there - this driver was an ex-cop, told stories, etc. he was a riot. We got his card/number and asked if he'd be willing to pick us up after the show. We called, had figured out a meeting point, and he was there! We obviously made it worth his while both ways. We even invited him to dinner with us after he dropped us off at the hotel, but he passed. I think my friend's called him the next time they were in Vegas! So, maybe make friends with your cab driver, or take care of him/her on the way there, and perhaps you can arrange a pick up as well. Just a thought...

With so many people going on this board we should just rent a party bus from the strip to the stadium :hyper:

I was one of the victims of waiting for a cab after Popmart. 3 hrs. later we made it back to the strip.

If we had 25-30 of us I don't think it would cost that much. If you google "Vegas Limo/Bus" you get a ton of vendors. Prices are pretty discreet though. Maybe have the bus pick everyone up in the middle of the strip then drop us off afterwards.

I did that for the Honolulu show for people with seats not GA. Charged everyone $15 R/T. Gave the extra money to The ONE Campaign. Most people paid in advance through Paypal. Should I do it again? 30 people would do it. Though if I stay at that Siena place, I won't need a bus.
