ok, but then 48/49 is the new 38/39 :D I just mean seriously, Bowie is 62 and still going, now thats MUCH older than 'our boys' and I don't hear ppl referring to Bowie as nothing other than 'legend' for example

and then there's the physical vs mental age and all that, and in 'rock' terms I know its different again, but hey

just saying :reject: older maybe, but certainly not OLD! :sexywink:

What un unimaginative piece of work. Well at least it suits the single if you think about it. And everything is better than the monster of a picture on HTDAAB, which I listened to yesterday in one take without pausing and discovering innerlove for it. This has also to do with the new single I guess which stood on the mountain for 10 minutes and then slided down into deathvalley to never be found on my playlist again.

Are you done with your negativity for today or is there anything more to add? That can't be all, come on, try harder.

and to think that I actually said that I found love for your favourite record ever must have pleased you. All because of, AAAAALLLLL because of you.

I AM

So who copied who here? U2 might have some explaining to do....again

If you notice in the picture with the girls. they are all wearing boots

The chairs are exactly the same design (colors different of course) so I have to this this was quite intentional for some reason.

Anyways, is it Four5One that comes up with the ideas? Or do they just work with the shots given to them? I'm curious who the team was actually came up with the sitting-in-chairs idea. I doubt it was U2 themselves.

I really think they (fotographer oder Four5One) knew the cover - it's just too obvious (even the Larry Pose...) Perhaps they thougt nobody will notice it. This CD with the girls is from 2003 - and nobody listens to this crap anymore. You can buy the hole album new for 1 Euro and the used version for 1 Cent...

Seriously, what's gotten into these lads? Now watch them get in a heap of trouble as every single from the album copies somebody else's cover...

I like it. Just wonder if they had permission. Maybe we'll know soon enough.

Since when do you need permission for taking a picture of four guys in chairs? I guess there are a couple of million pictures of people sitting around in chairs, are they all rip-offs?

Come on unicorn. Let's just say that you don't know either group and you see this. What would be your first reaction?

Man, give me a break. No, I'm not saying that "any picture of four guys in chairs" is a rip off of that photograph. Just look at the two pictures. Even if it was unintentional there are glaring similarities that go beyond just the fact that the subjects in both are sitting in chairs, for god's sake.

its a nod to that cover obviously since the song is about handing things over to women and boots. calm down.

and i like how edge is cracking his knuckles as if its time to do work.

Maybe it's a parody....

you can see how the girl that is on Larry's seat is a similar position. And the "Bono and Adam" girls are kinda closer to each other.
McGuiness could have been the girl on the back, but that might have looked ugly and they discarded it.

i mean is there better free publicity than U fucking 2 borrowing your images? They dont have shit to explain and those bands with the imilar covers dont have shit to complain about

We can be sure that it is a rip-off or a parody. I am leaning towards the second actually. It just isn't coincidence
