So what does everyone thing of the suggestion (I got this from the official thread) that the "equal" sign is a space reserved for the band/title names?

I can't believe they would release an "unfinished" cover, but I also can't believe McGuinne$$ would approve a cover without the band's name on it. The sticker on the plastic wrap ain't gonna cut it for him.

There could also be a slipcover that goes over the jewel case.

P.S. COCK.

I can't believe that's the actual album cover... something I'd expect by some indieshit band like Liars, not my beloved Shuttlecock.

First the guyliner, now this. I'm losing so much faith I may just start listening to black metal, not to be confused by metal made by black people.

Think about it, this was God damned perfect.

Who among the apologist fanboys and fangirls is going to sit there and read through 30 pages of cock jokes just to see if it might eventually get serious.

We can start a serious discussion at any time.

FAKE.

It sounded like Shuttlecock recording a cover of Coldplay rewriting the shittiest Shuttlecock song of all time. Therefore, it has to be FAKE.

Coldplay gets it, though. They understand. They respect the woman for who she is. They are better than Radiohead. If you disagree, I'm sorry, but you're wrong.

This is some Prestige-level magic going on right now. Shee-it.

THE CONDUCTOR to the rescue.

I'm torn between hoping = is a placeholder and thinking this is it, but I can't picture an iteration of the cover featuring the band name and title right in the center that wouldn't look horrible.

I might be able to come around to the idea of this = thing, whether it's for sea = sky, or whatever suggestion the others in that other thread are talking about.

hey, you run that joke into the ground far more than anyone else.

come off it.

Come to think of it, Viva La Vida was the second greatest album released this decade. Couldn't top Todd Rundgren's chakra symphony though.

Seriously though, who here read what Neil McCormick had to say?

He seems like a pretty good writer but he's also a bit up Shuttlecock's ass.

Evidence > FAKE

I keep saying that if it were real, it would have been pulled off youtube by now.

btw I knew something was up when I googled "Shuttlecock music" and nothing came up. You guys and your master minding planning of shit, I swear. :p

What the fuck is indieshit supposed to mean?

Just a band I'd hear for the first time and go "Wow, I wonder which decimal in the 9s Pitchfork will give this album."

That doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, just a slight level about indietastic.
