Lance and I's battle is pretty close.

I just voted for you. Now, sure, I haven't listened to Lance's list, but neither has he. Plus, I think your running diary told me all I need to know.

Which reminds me, I should go see what fit Screw threw in the running diary thread.

I'm kinda put out about it, cause whether you liked his song choices or not, there were basically no good segues in it. It's like he had them on shuffle.

I initially thought this was about Screw's list.

Here's my dilemma, try and follow my logic:

when I vote on DI, I try to follow the object of the game and vote for a list i'd more like to be trapped on a Desert Island with. Now, if you know me well, then obviously for me that list is Reggo's because of the songs. On the other hand. I do enjoy hearing new music from these contests, and there were only a handful of songs on Reg's list I didn't know, and what I didn't know I didn't care much for. But on Ali's list there were a LOT of songs I didn't know, and I mostly enjoyed them all. A few of them I'm already listening to again and am curious about other material by them.

So: personally, Reggo. Creatively, Ali.

I'M TORN

It was a hard decision for me because of that. Your flow was excellent, but I really cared a great deal more for Lance's songs. It was hard. There was only really one part of your list where I was loving the music as well (I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, hope it doesn't come off that way.) and it didn't last long enough. But I would vote for your list over a few others easily.

Well, I think I'm the only one other than herself that voted for Ali, and I don't think another vote for her would hurt. I liked Reggo's list, but it was too... you know, I won't say radio because popular doesn't equal bad of course, but there weren't any pleasant surprises. I was surprised by a lot on Ali's list, though. I didn't even hate the John Butler song.

Haha, no it's all good. I've already decided that my next list is For The People a bit more, too. Which part did you like, out of curiosity?

The John Butler song blew my mind, because I only know one other song by them, and it was on a cd at work, so I was forced against my will to listen to it and I wanted to shoot something everytime it came on. But I actually saved the JBT song to my computer (I burned everything to disc and deleted the remains from my computer, but now that I've got all the lists downloaded I'm going back through them and saving one or two songs I really loved from each list) as well as Boom Crash Opera song

I think I'll vote for Ali since it won't change anything

The end of the first disc or The beginning of the second disc was cool, I can't remember :reject: Just gonna have to give it another listen. I think I can't remember because when I burned them to discs I didn't make sure to split them the way you did, so there are more tracks on my first disc then on yours. I really got into a "groove" so to speak while listening to it. Meaning, I didn't tune it out, but I wasn't actively listening, while hearing it at the same time. Uh...this is a compliment
