All right. I cried my eyes out for a few minutes (not kidding), and now I feel a touch better. I'll get through this. It's not like we don't have a history of this kind of behavior (it's been 100 years now since we've won a world series). Might as well get on with life...it's just a game

Coolness; Pugg Mahone's wasn't a bad place to see them when Ali and I went to their last gig there a month ago. And yeah, she got some time off work, so she's using it well!

Yeah, not bad at all. I talked with my mum earlier this evening, she seems to be doing a lot better. And my cat, well he's just a fickle bastard. He bares his claws at anyone who's not me. :laugh:

:hug: On the positive side, at least you made it to the play-offs. Do you look like you have an improving team that may go even further next season?

Okay, so basically we all want to do Anne Hathaway, and who can blame us? But I said it first. The rest of you can watch.


She hosted SNL tonight. And The Killers performed. Human and some other song that was equally weird. Apparently about being abducted by aliens and maybe wishing you could stay up there or something... apparently Brandon Flowers now thinks he's Matt Bellamy. Also, his shoulders were covered in chicken feathers. I don't know why.

Well see. We got swept in the playoffs last year as well, but I never expected to go far last year, but I knew the team could only get better, and I was right, we super improved and had the best record in the National League this season, and for the majority of the season, the best record in baseball. There was really absolutely NO reason for us to lose. At all. Just bad baseball playing all around. Too much pressure I suppose. I think we could go to the playoffs again next year, and I think we could win it too, if some changes are made, and maybe the pressure of it having been the 100th anniversary of the last time we won the WS being gone.
 
Oh, Ali shows up just after I spend ages scouting around Google Earth to figure out where a particular photo was taken in the Melbourne CBD. Murphy's bloody Law!

Well, at least I figured out the photo was at the Collins/Queen intersection. And hey Ali! :wave:

:lol: Glad I'm not the only one who does this, then feels like a dick for being so stupid about marks when no one cares and will care even less once you've graduated. But ya know.
