Wow, thanks Screwtape! For someone who worships the X chromosome, you're pretty quick to write most of us off as worthless! I'm pretty sure my playlist isn't up to your standards, so I guess you shouldn't bother listening to it at all.

And as for my playlist, some people (ANDREW) have expressed distaste toward it because I actually used songs/artists that I liked. But that's why opinions suck  I knew going into this that most people wouldn't like what I was doing, but really I'm only participating at all so that I could say I did. I'm more than satisfied with my list and with the story I was able to tell with it.

But I guess if it could never be up to Screwy's superb standards.

Well, how 'bout listening to them all before arbitrarily making the decision?

The ear likes what it likes. :D

Just unfair criticism.

I shouldn't have said your list was rushed without knowing all of the facts.

However, I'm not changing my mind about the whole playlist feeling rushed. That's criticism you can take to the bank, and I mean every word of it.

K, let's see how you react when I submit Pure Moods volumes 1 & 2 as my DI list next time around. It's got the flow and soundscapes so there ya go. And I didn't even have to do any work.

Are you going to have enough to share with the rest of the class?

Yes, of course. What would you like on your pizza?

Also, continuing with Axver's list...I really liked the song by Camel. And right now I'm on a song by a band called Incredible Expanding Mindfuck.

The song is not really going anywhere right now, but hey there's still 3 minutes left.

:hmm: Pepperoni is always a safe choice

The high point (low point) is tracks 29-31. The emo-trio. Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Seether featuring Amy Lee.

That's an awesome name for it.

You can't fault the guy for not liking it, as long as you're happy with it, like you said, then it's all dandy.

Songs I liked were by the following artists: Jet, The Killers, Bjork, Robbie Williams (with whatshername), Muse, Passengers, Bell X1, U2, The Beatles, Sinead O'Connor. That MCR song is perhaps my least favourite off their new album, and I've never liked Seether or Linkin Park. But you'll probably dislike my list, too, so no worries. Oh, and Screw will dislike both our lists.

:cute: aww something you can agree on

Honestly, that Seether/Amy Lee song is my least favourite on the list, but it fit the theme, and I was running short. I Don't Love You isn't one of my favourite MCR songs either, but again, the theme.

Next time (if there is a next time), themes can go fuck themselves.

you know, when watching an infomercial for one of those time life box sets and thought i could submit an 80s one. however, i soon realized that's pretty much what i submit anyway. :)

You and LMP are now on the list of decisions I understand and support in regards to the next DI

If you think it sounds rushed, that's fine. To say it was rushed, isn't the truth.

To be fair, I said it should have been fleshed out more, but I didn't say that it was rushed out at the last minute. However, can you blame those who think that it was rushed out in that manner for believing what they do? All of your posts leading up to you entering the list indicated that it was a rush job. I'm glad you enjoy your list and all, but can you see where I'm coming from with this?

I was tempted to just pick out enough tracks from my 500 Greatest Rock songs collection and just make a list out of that, but for some strange reason that felt like cheating.

I generally pick my songs first, and fit them to a theme later. :shh:

You can't assume. You should ask the person before coming to that conclusion. For example, you said my playlist sounded rushed and I replied that it wasn't. It isn't hard to ask how making the playlist went after they've submitted it.

......*cracks*

You got me. My upcoming funk list is actually just these two discs with a 25-page paragraph attached:

What the fuck Screw? You gave EVERYONE the impression, and so, based on that, ElMel said the list FELT rished. It was SIMPLY a running Diary, it was HIS THOUGHTS he didn't have to run them by you first.
