we went there a few hours ago, got wristbands #225 and 226. supposed to call this phone number tonight to find out what time to line up tomorrow morning, but they were saying around 7 am, but couldn't say for sure until they talked with security

Sadly, its not a joke. There isnt a virtual sign up either, not even a "my friend is on their way" thing. It is relatively low key, once people are signed in, we left. [he rosebowl is in a very nice neighborhood, and thats why they arent letting people build up. Were checking in periodically with the line managers (shawnee and brad) to get an update. Were trying to keep the congegration to a bare minimum until (8am or 9am) tomorrow morning until we can get the full on line going. Until then, its sign in and leave before too much attention is drawn situation. So far, things seem to be going smoothly. Theyre trying to meet with security heads to see if we can keep 2 or 3 people there to sign in and band people coming overnight. Its all a bit fragile at the moment, but we are hoping for the best!

In other news though, Ill have a small portable amp and amazing delay pedal for some line jamming tomorrow =).

Whoa....350? Why so many so early? We're planning to get there around 1pm. Is that going to be too late to get in the inner circle? And what can we do with the number? For example, if we stop by to get a number tonight, what's the latest we can get back in line tomorrow?

I can't believe there are that many people already lining up and am hoping this is just a bunch of the crazy fans jumping the gun with things calming down later on. [Not that I'm judging. I would be there too if I could!]

Last I heard, if you get a number early, you have to be there right in the am when we are "allowed" to line up. Inner circle holds quite a bit, I heard around 2k, i'm not positive though

Well, it's probably the DVD plus the parking issues. I saw stories about parking on two different newscasts last night. So people have been warned and may be acting accordingly. I just hope most of those people think 4pm is showing up early.

Don't worry. 100,000 sounds intimidating but don't forget the majority of that number are seats. I'm showing up till the late morning too. We won't get rail spots but we won't be far behind. You'll find a decent spot

Security is working with us. Signups will happen throughout the night at parking lot i. We will begin lining up at 7am. Do NOT hang around and line up earlier, get your number and band, then return at 7am in lot i to begin lineup.

I can't stress it enough to not line up early, your number and band will be honored.

They will escort us to whatever gate they decide to use tomorrow, but official word is to line up in lot i.

Recap:
1) Signups will be available in lot i all night.
2) Once you have your number and band, leave and relax.
3) Come back at 7am in lot i to officially line up, NO earlier!

This was all confirmed with the stadiums security. Can't wait to see you all out there! It's been quite a day, but it looks like things are sorted.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to get there till about 1:30 PM so I'll live with whatever floor position I get. I'm almost kind of good with being on the floor at a distance so I can see the almighty claw lit up in all its glory.

Inner circle is 2400? That's much higher than I thought. So if seating capacity for Rose Bowl is 90,000 and they're expecting 96,000 tomorrow, does 6,000-8,000 GAs sound about right? That sounds much better than I was expecting in terms of crowding in the GA section.

Please keep the line narrow, this will prevent people from jumping in line and it will keep everything better organized.
