Yes it is life threatening, especially for insulin dependent diabetics. If you are non-dependent it's still life threatening if you don't have your diabetes medication and/or test enough.

I really don't think going w/ out sex if you need Viagra can compare.

Yeah, it is because of what's going on with the pancreas in particular. I thought it was but I have a really bad virus and it's tough remembering my pathophysiology with these little creatures clouding up my head!

No, I was being silly. That was a pretty embarrassing mistake, forgetting that stuff about diabetes and insulin. I do have a virus, unfortunately.

Same here. Actually, my last relationship, which ended six years ago, was so traumatic I'm scared to try again. The guy was an abusive drunk, and I broke off the relationship at considerable risk for my physical safety.
